This architect-designed two-bedroom bungalow is fully furnished for both short visits and extended stays. It suits honeymooners, families with up to two children, or small groups of friends. The kitchenette is equipped with everything needed for preparing meals at home.

Inside, the bungalow features:

• A comfortable queen bed in the main bedroom
• Air conditioning throughout the space
• A daybed in the living area that accommodates two people
• A guest bedroom with a cozy queen bed

The bathroom includes a large glass-enclosed shower with a generous window overlooking the gardens, where howler monkeys frequently pass by.

Just outside your door, you’ll find a refreshing swimming pool and a wooden deck perfect for relaxation, along with multiple hammocks.

Casa Tranquila was thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind. The property utilizes natural sea breezes for passive cooling, reducing reliance on air conditioning. Additionally, graywater from the bungalow nourishes the surrounding trees and plants instead of draining into the ocean.

Guest Access

Guests have access to:

• On-site laundry facilities (washer and dryer available)

Laundry service is offered at a fee of $20 USD per load.

Other Things to Note

Casa Tranquila was developed to preserve the habitat of the local howler monkeys that roam the area. These monkeys are often seen feeding on flowers and papayas on the property, and sometimes you may even hear them walking across the roof.

The property includes three separate bungalows:

• The oceanview bungalow by the pool
• Your two-bedroom bungalow
• The owner and architect’s residence

Each unit is separated by mature trees and vibrant vegetation, creating a sense of living in a nearly untouched part of Tamarindo.
