If you are looking for a nice and calm beach house, this would be the place! Beautiful black sand beach which massive waves! Lots of surfers out there! Definitely not a beach for little kids or people trying to play in the ocean. Pool is beautiful and the views from upstairs are great as well. Lots of parrots flying around and other wildlife. There are many restaurants about a mile away and you are about 4 miles from downtown Jaco if you are looking for night life. Overall very awesome!

We enjoyed our stay! Karolina was responsive and helpful. She gave us local recommendations for dinner and she was helpful when we lost power (briefly) due to a local earthquake. The home is not walkable to stores, so having a car is recommended. The area does offer UBER so that is also an option for trips into Jaco, about a 8-10 min drive from the house. The area is quite and convenient for daily surfing. We were a group of 5 and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with all equipment for cooking at home. We would definitely stay here again.

Excelente ubicación y una casa muy cómoda, equipada con todo lo necesario para una familia de seis personas. Ofrece mucha privacidad y una distribución muy funcional. Además, los atardeceres desde la terraza del segundo piso son simplemente espectaculares.

Great location, beach right across the way pool and hot tub were amazing. Comfy beds. The house is set up well for cooking. The only thing when entered the house. It had a musty smell.

Everything is as the photos and more! Macaws flying around…check Ocean with a beautiful beach 20 steps away…check. Super clean hot tub and swimming pool…check. Very responsive host…check! Astonishing views tropical paradise….check! Pura Vida!!!

The home was perfect for our us, our kids, and the parents. Our three generations especially enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The location across from the beach was perfect for watching sunsets. We cooked all of our meals using the kitchen. It is well-stocked with great counter space for food preparation. The only downside to our trip was a 2-day surf competition that took place directly in front of the house. The announcer and music started at 6:00am and didn't turn off until sunset. We would come back again, but would check the surfing competition schedule first.
