The Space
This four-bedroom home overlooks Laguna de Apoyo, a warm, clean crater lake surrounded by lush tropical forest. Located just 15 minutes from the colonial city of Granada, the property offers a peaceful retreat with hammocks, lake views, and access to the beach.
The home includes:
- Two large decks
- An open-air, covered lakeside rancho
- A spacious living area
- A fully equipped kitchen
- Two and a half bathrooms
- Floor and/or ceiling fans in every bedroom
- On-site parking
The home does not have air conditioning.
Sleeping arrangements include:
- Two bedrooms with king-size beds
- One bedroom with a queen-size bed
- One bedroom with three single beds
The property is well suited for families or couples traveling together. Several restaurants and a pulperĂa are located nearby.

The house and location were beautiful! Everyone was very friendly and helpful at check-in. The rancho was a great place to sit in a hammock and read. The kids all loved swimming in the laguna and made good use of all the pool noodles. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a magical stay on lake Apoyo. Esther was very helpful with travel logistics and our check in was very thorough. This place is everything you could want and more. Our 4 days here will last in my memory. I would happily come back. Galen

This airbnb was a piece of heaven on earth. This place was so beautiful and peaceful. Esther made us feel at home, she provided us with great information and it was very helpful. From the minutewe booked to the minute we checked out, Esther was there yo help. We loved staying in Laguna de Apollo. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The scenery, view, and access to the lake was great. We walked down the stairs and right into the water. My husband and I like to open swim so would swim the half mile to the restaurant Paradiso for breakfast in the mornings. It’s also a quick walk from the house to a few other restaurants. The house has everything you need for cooking, though do bring your own groceries as there isn’t a supermarket close by. The housekeeper and property manager were responsive and welcoming. They gave us suggestions of what to do and were open to chatting. We loved our stay and will come back to Esther’s in a heartbeat.

Premièrement , Esther et Andy sont des hôtes d’exceptions, toujours prêts à nous aider et à nous donner d’excellentes suggestions d’activités et de bons restaurants. Gloria et ses deux garçons qui sont les gardiens sont d’une grandes gentillesses et très serviables. La maison est propre et très bien équipée. La vue sur la Laguna est imprenable avec le Rancho à notre disposition pour se prélasser après la baignade!!! L’eau de la Laguna est vraiment chaude et juste un peu salée…très agréable. Bref, je vous recommande cette maison sans hésitation!!! De tout mes Airbnb c’est ma TOP à tous les points de vue!!! Vive Laguna de Apoyo à la Casa Alchemy 🧡♥️🧡
