I booked the Jade unit this past week for 6 of us and we had a blast! The house is beautiful and very well equipped! It’s huge! Every bedroom is its own suite. The pool is really nicely designed and is a great place to spend your day! The La Perla Team is exceedingly helpful, Roberto will help get all of your fun activities arranged. He’s a great guy and we felt like we were interacting with old friends. Star is also very helpful and went out of her way to help us identify a personal boat ride back to the airport. She quoted a good price, but helped with trying to get us other options. These guys were super responsive! no matter the time. They did a great job of keeping the property really clean and beautiful. They are located outside of San Pedro, on the north end of the island. Only a tiny issue if you’re driving your golf cart you can’t go very fast because of the roads, but don’t we all need to slow down a bit? Sargassum is a problem for all the islands. Pray for a solution

Villa Jade is stunning. We absolutely loved the Villa and the grounds of La Perla. Spacious bedrooms with private bath and balconies on main level and upstairs is a big suite with King bed, balconies and a big bathroom with a little less privacy but still great. The kitchen had everything we needed which I really appreciated. Star connected us with Roberto for our tours. Excellent tours, and seemless experience! We had a blast! Also, Star was super friendly and responsive and arranged transport, booked our flights, & golf cart. Appreciated all her help! Two restaurants super close with all sorts of places to eat all the way to town. Town is not walkable. It takes a good half hour in a golf cart on bumpy road. The only hiccup was the construction noise of the villa next door which I feel like they should have disclosed prior to my booking, it was not insignificant issue and we paid top dollar to stay there and it most definitely diminished our stay on days we did not have tours. Bummer.

Our family loved our time. This Airbnb was one of the cleanest and most beautiful we have stayed in and we travel all over. I did not know there would be an on site staff available 24/7 and security personally. They were so attentive. Met us with a private pick up on a boat at the water taxi ferry. Helped with luggage, walking us to our aribnb rental showing us all the amenities it had. Explaining very thoroughly rules etc. they provided water for our entire stay and refilled it very promptly. We were able to use a grill to cook our meals. The beds were so comfy and so quiet and peaceful. Everything was extremely clean. She was able to help us with a golf cart rental. I highly recommend having a golf cart rented and waiting for you upon arrival. There is not really much you can walk to for food or drinks. Having a golf cart made it very easy to go into town, go to the local stores and restaurants, go to secret beach I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful setting. Impeccable grounds; raked daily, tidy. Great landscaping. Pool area is very inviting. Long, maintained dock. Villa Jade is lovely. Hardwoods, great ensuites, huge master, large deck, stocked kitchen. Photos don't do justice. Regulatory improvements: 1- Required to complete a Credit Card authorization form with a blank monetary value for damages. Damages charged to your Cc at their sole discretion: contravenes AirB&B mediation policy. 2- Common, area No-swim policy past the dock: boat traffic. AirB&B listing disclosure to be improved. A sign that "recommends" such is at the far end of the dock, 50 paces past the stairs to enter the water. Sign required at stairs. A single buoy: incomplete swim area. Towing a kayak while snorkeling unsafe, esp for re-entry. Boat traffic, swimmers & reef happily coexist around the world. Add a multi-buoy swim area, boat corridors, swim lanes, regs... for all resorts: access to the reef, the jewel of the Cayes. Truly a lovely resort!

Staying in Jade at La Perla was amazing. It is a beautiful home in the most peaceful and beautiful setting with the convenience of some resort features like the pool, activities available and the concierge services. Jennifer and Star were welcoming with arrival information and coordination of transportation that made it so easy. Roberto was waiting for us at the dock to transport us to the house by boat (recommend by water that is faster and honestly less bumpy). Star greeted us at the dock and showed us around the home. And the Golf cart was waiting for us to venture out for provisions. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities needed to cook in which we love to with our traveling chef (and best friend)! Roberta was amazing and has all the activities to book. The fishing and snorkeling with the sharks and stingrays was amazing! And Roberto and team cooked our catch for afternoon lunch! There are so many beach bars and restaurants…just venture out!

The best vacation. 6 of us stayed with La Pearla Nov 5-10. It was the tail end of rainy season but we managed to have 5 full days of sun and beautiful weather. The staff at La Pearla was wonderful. Star was very quick to respond to all messages leading up to & during our trip. We did 2 excursions through Roberto with La Pearla - a full day of Snorkeling and a day of Reef Fishing. Gavino was our guide for both and he was the best. We caught quite a few fish and dove for conch while we snorkeled. Gavino caught us lobster and the he made us a wonderful lunch while we lounged after our excursion. San Pedro in general is so fun and we are already dying to go back. La Pearla is pretty far north of main San Pedro so it is about 30-45 minutes via golf cart but we didn’t mind that once we got used to the location. The roads are bumpy so just prepare for rough rides. ** If any of your US dollars are ripped or damaged, even just the corner, they cannot use them. Keep that in mind for tipping!

Gorgeous property. The place looks just as breathtaking as the pictures. It’s in the remote area up north of the island but it’s quiet and serene, just what we needed. The frozen coconut mojito at the Moon Bar close by is dreamy. We had some issue with the washer and the management team responded quickly at night and helped with a solve. Appreciate the prompt responses!

This was a birthday trip which was initially planned for Caye Caulker. We ended up in San Pedro because we needed an extra bedroom and I’m so glad we did! San Pedro is more chill and I appreciated the calm and relative quietness. I rented a golf cart which I highly recommend! The host was responsive and has an office on site which is great. It was a super windy time of year so we didn’t spend much time in the pool but the area was beautiful.
