Casa Agogó was born from a deep love of Puerto Viejo, a small Caribbean town full of character and good energy where all ages and cultures mix; from beach, surf and nature lovers. Puerto Viejo offers the most beautiful white sands with turquoise waters, excellent gastronomy, bars and unique shops. The houses were completely restored to their original Caribbean style and decorated exquisitely with a cheerful and elegant mix of furniture, art and antiques. Casa Agogó Retreat Space consists of 1 Main house with 3 bed 3 bath and a 1 bed, 1 bath Guest house. On the main floor of the big house, there is a large and cosy living room, fully equipped kitchen with filtered water, a bedroom with AC, fan, and a full bathroom. All the French windows and doors open up to a large mosaic checkered floor with antique rattan furniture, a large colonial table and chairs for dining outside, a coral stone turquoise pool and gazebo to relax. On the second floor, two master bedrooms with AC and ensuite bathrooms, fans, and a huge enveloping terrace fully furnished to relax at the end of a busy day. We offer a TV and fiber optic internet. The guest house, Casa Coral, consists of a large bedroom with 2 queen size bed, AC and fan, ensuite bathroom, and a comfortable living area with an open plan kitchen. A sleeper sofa is available for a fifth guest. The spacious property is steps away from the main road, 100m from the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. It is enclosed by a surrounding wall with lush tropical plants, giving privacy and safety to our guests. You can leave your vehicle in the private parking and just walk everywhere! Casa Coral has a beautiful large terrace for dining outside, overlooking a a private garden. The Cottage has his own private entrance with parking for a car and a Rhino/ATV. La casa es increíble, es tal cual y como se ven en las fotos, la ubicación es perfecta, el trato de Jerónimo es excepcional, en un ambiente y lugar muy seguro, una casa muy bonita, cada cuarto con su baño independiente. En general es una casa familiar o bien con un muy buen grupo de amigos. Recomendada, en un futuro cercano volveremos.

This is an incredible and special place. Probably the nicest house in Puerto Viejo. The outdoor space was amazing to enjoy. Beautiful setting and landscaping, the pool, lots of shade. very comfortable outdoor furniture. Lots of space! It was outside by about 5 minutes walking of the major center of town. The Jungle Spa was right nearby walking and we visited it twice. the house is on the main/only road so you do get some car noise but mostly during the day. quiet at night. and any concern for the noise is completely offset by this spectacular house and gardens. AC in each bedroom. And the house stays cool otherwise. treat yourself. It's worth it!

This is one of the hidden gems in this area as 70% of the Airbnbs are not great. The pool was a great place to hang when everyone was getting ready or to cool off after a long hike. The bathrooms were all functional with good toilets and hot showers. The beds were all comfortable. We had both houses and they both have full kitchens. There’s a hot water kettle. The host met us there personally and gave recommendations the entire time. They even hung a birthday sign and arranged a cake to be made which was so incredibly welcoming. I rated it as quiet but there’s motorcycles, cats meowing, dogs barking at times. I didn’t mind the noises but some of my group are light sleepers. We felt very safe and it was right in the middle of the town so you could walk either direction. 5 min walk from beach, or 10 to the beach at Cochles which was a little more swim friendly. I think every Airbnb always needs more tables, hooks, and mirrors.

This is a wonderful and very special house in a great location in Puerto Viejo! The rooms and the common spaces are very spacious and comfortable. The main house is wonderful, great look and feel and interior design taste. The team that manages the house is very kind and responsive. We even had an inconvenience with the keys and the main entrance and they kindly did not charge us with extra costs. Things to improve: the beds in the guest house are not that comfortable. New mattresses are recommended. For the price it's listed at, all guests should sleep comfortable. If traveling there, take into account the pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures and the depth is approx. a meter or so. Overall, we recommend to stay here if you value good taste, great location, privacy and spacious amenities. Good for groups of friends and family.

This was an amazing Airbnb. The hosts were suppper responsive and respectful. My whole family felt so spoiled with the Airbnb and all the wild life around. I would recommend for a large group of friends looking to be walking distance from the beach.
