Montecristo is an exclusive gated community situated on the mountainside in Los Cabos, Mexico. It offers breathtaking ocean views overlooking the entire Quivira Los Cabos area, which features a prestigious Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. The community is meticulously landscaped and maintained, providing access to a beautiful clubhouse. Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula in Cabo San Lucas, this private enclave offers a tranquil and luxurious retreat.

The Space

Montecristo Villas are designed to meet your needs, ensuring a memorable and comfortable stay in this unique and spectacular setting. Each villa serves as a home away from home, equipped with luxurious amenities such as:

• Walk-in closets

Please note:

• Our listings are not linked to a specific villa, but all villas share the same amenities and layouts.
• Every villa includes a private pool and Jacuzzi on the terrace.
• Views vary by villa; while we cannot guarantee the exact view shown in photos, it will be similar.
• Villa location requests are not accepted. We manage villas in both Phase I and Phase II of Montecristo.

Booking and Guest Policies

• Prices are based on the number of guests. Please book for the correct number of guests.
• If additional guests arrive beyond the booking, extra person fees will double if reported during or after check-in.
• You may add guests before arrival at the original extra guest fee by notifying us at least a few days in advance.
• Housekeeping is not included but can be added for $80 USD per day.
• Please review our house rules carefully, as the Montecristo Community enforces strict regulations.
• The villas do not provide salt, pepper, condiments, oils, foil, plastic wrap, coffee, sugar, or similar items.

Environmental Sanitation Tax

The municipality of Los Cabos has implemented an Environmental Sanitation Tax to support local community improvements. This tax applies to all reservations made from September 8, 2022, onward.

• Tax amount: 33.68 Mexican Pesos per room per night (approximately $1.70 USD, depending on exchange rate)
• Charged at check-out in addition to the rental fee
• Funds support environmental infrastructure, sustainability, safety, and security projects

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Quivira Vacation Rentals follows strict health and safety measures based on global hotel consulting recommendations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Cleanliness and Hygiene

• Hand sanitizing stations located throughout the resort, including front desk and restaurant entrances
• Enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols focusing on high-touch surfaces using certified products
• Periodic comprehensive sanitization by certified third parties before reopening and regularly thereafter

Arrival Procedures

• External suitcase sanitization via steam cabin or sanitizing devices
• Guest sanitization cabin and temperature checks using infrared thermometers; guests with temperatures above 38°C (100.4°F) may be denied entry after medical evaluation
• Mobile pre-check-in available

In-Room Amenities

• Hand sanitizer and sanitizing spray provided
• Masks and gloves available upon request
• Paper amenities, pens, and magazines removed from rooms but available on request

Social Distancing and Public Areas

• Elevator capacity limited to two persons, except family members
• Public area furniture arranged to maintain at least 1.8 meters (6 feet) distance
• Pool loungers grouped in twos or fours with 1.8 meters spacing between groups
• Fitness center and spa equipment sanitized after each use; capacity limits enforced

Food and Beverage

• Restaurant and bar seating arranged to maintain social distancing with maximum capacities
• Staff required to wear masks
• Contactless room service available
• Menus accessible via mobile devices; physical menus removed

Golf Club Protocols

• Sanitization of golf carts and balls before and after use
• Reception and practice areas operate with maximum capacity limits
• Tee times spaced 15 minutes apart
• One golf cart per person unless requested for family members
• New rules to minimize contact, such as flagsticks remaining in the hole and removal of bunker rakes

COVID-19 Response

• On-site detection team includes a physician, general manager, operations manager, and head of security, coordinating with health authorities
• Established protocols for managing potential COVID-19 cases
• 24/7 medical services available

Destination Measures

• Enhanced procedures at SJD International Airport, including thermal cameras and travel background checks
• Certification program overseen by the Ministry of Health for restaurants, hotels, water sports, and tourism activities
• Ongoing monitoring and updates to safety protocols

Note: Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, certificates, or coupons.

Important Notes

• Outside services such as private chefs, catering, grocery shopping, and maid services are not permitted within the Quivira Los Cabos Community. Only services provided by Pueblo Bonito Resorts are allowed.
• Any additional guests added after the original booking will incur extra fees:
  • $50 USD per night per person if added before arrival
  • $100 USD per night per person if added during or after check-in
• All guests must be registered, and applicable fees must be paid.
• Villa assignments are confirmed only at check-in due to the multi-unit rental nature and scheduling of arrivals and departures.
• Early check-in cannot be guaranteed but is possible if the villa is ready before 4:00 p.m. Guests may use clubhouse facilities while waiting, and luggage and groceries can be stored until the villa is available.
• This property operates as a vacation rental, which differs from timeshare or hotel bookings through resorts. Some amenities included in resort stays may not be available in vacation rentals. The amenities provided align with industry standards and Airbnb recommendations for essential features.
