They are attentive and help resolve issues immediately. The place met and exceeded our expectations. I recommend it for groups of families or friends. It's super comfortable.

I wouldn't stay in this house again. Online it seems to be nice and in a good location, but this is false. 1. The air conditioners do not work 2. Strange people gather next to the house, there is a feeling of insecurity 3. The host wrote to me on my personal number to ask for extra money in addition to the fee paid by the platform 4. The house is dirty I've been staying in Airbnbs all over the world for many years. This is my first time having such a poor experience.

Melissa's house was perfect for the group of 8 friends traveling together in Costa Rica The house is very well laid out, on one floor. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and nicely decorated. We loved the concept of the house being fully open to the porch area. We could all be together, some in the pool, others chatting, or cooking. We loved it. Melissa and her team were attentive to any needs, the service was premium. I'll save it for a future trip.

La casa de Melissa se acomodo perfectamente al grupo de 8 amigos que viajábamos juntos por Costa Rica La casa esta muy bien distribuida, en una sola planta. Las habitaciones eran amplias y cómodas, y bonitas decoradas. El concepto estar la casa totalmente abierta a la zona de porche nos encanto. Podíamos estar todos juntos, unos en la piscina, otros de tertulia, o cocinando. Nos encantó. Melissa y su equipo estaban pendientes de cualquier necesidad, las atenciones fueron premiun. Me la guardo para un próximo viaje.

The space was wonderful for our larger group of 7 adults and 3 kids, and we had a great stay. There are a bakery and a store next door plus multiple restaurants within a short drive. The beach may be too long or difficult a walk if you have little ones but is not far plus there are a nice restaurant and store right there too. If they are open, there is also a surf school and horseback riding near the house too plus a local brewery. We used What's App anytime we needed help around the house, and they were very responsive. A couple of tips for planning your stay: You will want a capable vehicle. The most direct route will take you on many miles of rough, gravel roads including small river crossings plus a ferry crossing that may not be available. Most of the roads around the house are this same rough, gravel/dirt roads. Understand, it is also possible for water service to go out throughout town. The house has a reserve tank, but a larger group can run through it fairly quick.

The house was clean and the open-concept layout made it easy to spend time with family. The air-conditioned bedrooms and hot showers were a big plus. The pool was a great size and cleaned often. The owner was extremely responsive, and the housekeeper was attentive and helpful. The location was super convenient right next to a grocery store and soda (local restaurant). The beach was about a 15-minute walk but less than a 5-minute drive which made quick trips easy.

7 bedrooms, 5 of which have a private bathroom. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen, spacious garden with swimming pool and sun loungers, covered porch with large dining table and outdoor kitchen, and some fitness equipment. Three mountain bikes free to use. Large refrigerator and excellent pans in kitchen, but only one chef's knife (no paring knife, bread knife or other knives). House is on unpaved road. For driving in the area 4WD is highly recommended. Owner thinks well and likes to think along, and responds quickly. Local manager is extremely friendly and helpful.

7 slaapkamers waarvan 5 met eigen badkamer. Comfortabele bedden. Leuke keuken, ruime tuin met zwembad en ligstoelen, overdekte porch met grote eettafel en buitenkeuken, en wat fitnessapparatuur. Drie mountainbikes gratis te gebruiken. Grote koelkast en prima pannen in keuken, maar slechts één koksmes (geen schilmesje, broodmes of andere messen). Huis ligt aan onverharde weg. Voor rijden in omgeving 4WD sterk aanbevolen. Eigenaar denkt goed en graag mee, en reageert snel. Lokale beheerder is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

Casa Bamboo is a beautiful and spacious house, perfect for a big group. The design, covered in bamboo, gives it a unique and tropical feel. The rooms are really nice and comfortable, making the stay very pleasant. While the house is next to other properties, so you shouldn’t expect total privacy, the space itself is still quite private and large enough to feel secluded. The area of Manzanillo is peaceful and a great spot if you’re looking to relax, plus it’s just a short drive to Santa Teresa. The house is well-equipped with everything you need, and overall, it’s a great option for anyone traveling with a group. Would definitely recommend

I wasn’t sure if this place would be big enough for me and our team of 6 people but it was way more than enough room and privacy for all of us, we utilized the grill and the fire pit and had a lm amazing time, host super accommodating, we’ll be back for sure.

Manuel and Elkin were great, very attentive, he came to clean the pool, drop us off wood, started our bonfire  and answered any other concerns and questions we had, he even took some coconuts off the palm trees for us! top tier service. the house was comfortable and open,  ac in all rooms and hot water. we all enjoyed it a lot.

Best host and manager I have ever had. Manuel greeted us and told us about the town, the restaurants, the house. (First time I've ever met the host in person.) Elkin was always exceptionally responsive to needs we had with a smile. Very friendly but not intrusive. The area is very underdeveloped, so the beach is not at all crowded. Though the area is underdeveloped, there are many conveniences. There is a grocery store right next door on one side and next to that, a soda with traditional Costa Rican food. On the other side of the house is an amazing bakery with delicious savory and sweet pastries. Then a bit further toward the beach there is a café with absolutely delicious lunches. Restaurant across from beach is fancier and has a varied menu, all of which is plentiful and tasty. Best equipped kitchen I've ever had. Our three-generation family group all loved the refreshing pool. Take the route through Santa Theresa though it's longer. The other route will scramble your insides.

The house was great! Manuel is an amazing host and he was very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and the house is located close to an amazing beach and it's right next to a supermarket. Thank you for having us ;)

Me and my friends had so much fun for these 5 days, everything was perfect and if we needed anything we could just text Elking and he would help us, the super is also right next to the house, which was absolutely perfect. Thank you Manuel!

Manuel's house was exactly as described. It had many rooms, which worked perfectly for the number of people staying there. The caretaker of the grounds, Elkin, greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the house, and provided information about the surrounding areas such as supermarkets and the beach. Elkin was attentive throughout our stay, assisting us with the fire pit and cleaning the pool daily. Manuel reached out to us on the day of arrival and introduced us to Elkin. Our stay was excellent! We had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. There were plenty of spaces for the group to do different activities or to gather together. I can't recommend Manue'ls house enough. I will definitely be making a future reservation when I come back to Costa Rica.

Manuel was very friendly and helped us make a last minute reservation.  The place is very well located: Walking distance to the beach, a nice cafe, and next to a supermarket that has everything we needed. The beautiful pool, fully equipped kitchen and workout station made our stay an even better one. Beds and bathrooms were also very clean and comfortable with high quality materials (nice sheets and best pillows ever!). Elkin, the person on site that helps him, was also very helpful and made us feel like home away from home. Thanks Manuel and team. We will visit for sure again!!!

New and very modern house with everything you need to have a good time. All the rooms had air conditioning and most of them also had a private bathroom. The property is very quiet and private, it has a supermarket, a ferretetia and a literally winged bakery. Elkin, the property manager, from the moment we arrived until we left was very friendly and helpful in everything we needed during the stay.

Casa nueva y muy moderna con todo lo necesario para pasarla bien. Todos los cuartos contaban con aire acodicionado y la mayoria tambien con baño privado. La propiedad es muy tranquila y privada, cuenta con un supermercado, una ferretetia y una panaderia literalmente alado. Elkin, el encargado de la propiedad, desde el momento que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos fue muy amistoso y servicial en todo lo que necesitamos durante la estadia.

First of all the host who was super nice and helpful. A service guy who really cares about his guests and makes sure the house is at a high level of maintenance. The maintenance man, Elkin, took care of all our needs, cleaning and laundry, arrange things for us, add and immediately improve everything in the house. A talented and charming man. A real sense of home. The house itself is new, big and has everything. Comfortable beds and pillows, cozy and clean linens, great towels, shelves for arranging the clothes, a table in each room where you can sit and learn or work, a cute little kitchen to cook in, a big and fun pool, a wonderful fire pit that the talented Elkin added a net on it where you can grill potatoes with fun, great showers with a very strong (rare!!!) stream The grounds are fenced and gives full privacy and is very convenient to reach the house. And close to the house there is a big super and has it all. We had a great time staying at the villa. Highly recommend💙

Casa Bamboo is a great place to retreat, rest, and enjoy. This time we made a retreat for 10 women, the place is perfectly accommodated, the rooms are comfortable and has plenty of space for activities. We did outdoor yoga, ice bath, enjoyed pool time, and were able to hike to the river with spectacular views, really immersed in nature. For work it is excellent as it has coworking area and many outdoor spaces. It is also ideal to spend time as a family, we came 3 days before the retreat and my son and husband had a great time. At Casa bamboo we felt right at home and it met all our expectations. Host Manuel responds very quickly and finds solutions to your needs. There is good internet, fully equipped kitchen and a work team are always attentive and willing to make your stay the best. (Elkin, Maria, Doña Rosa, Don Francisco and Erick are very grateful for everything.)

En esta ocasión realizamos un retiro para 10 mujeres, el lugar se acomoda perfectamente, las habitaciones son cómodas y tiene muchos espacios para realizar actividades. Hicimos yoga al aire libre, ice bath, disfrutamos de tiempo en la piscina, y pudimos hacer caminata hasta el río con una vista espectacular, realmente inmersos en la naturaleza. Para trabajar es excelente ya que tiene área de coworking y muchos espacios al aire libre. También es ideal para pasar en familia, vinimos 3 días antes del retiro y mi hijo y esposo la pasaron super bien. En casa bamboo nos sentimos como en casa y cumplió todas nuestras expectativas. El host Manuel responde muy rápido y encuentra soluciones a tus necesidades. Hay buen internet, cocina completamente equipada y un equipo de trabajo siempre atento y dispuesto a que tu estancia sea la mejor. (Elkin, maría, doña Rosa, don Francisco y Erick estamos muy agradecidas por todo).

Nice house, beautiful pool, very private, quit and clean. Elkin was very friendly and responsive along our stay. We were in a family vacation, our kids loved the place and the swimming pool. The house, is pretty private, and have a small bakery, a small but very good restaurant (De raiz) just a 3 minutes walk. Playa Manzanillo is a 10 minutes walk, and Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa are just a few minutes drive. We will definitely come back soon..!

It was a unique and wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, a street was closed and the person(Elkin) to greet us, came by us to the point to quickly locate the place. We were going with the pet and Don Elkin collaborates with a few tights to keep our puppy from getting away from us. The service and service that Don Elkin gave us, from the day we arrived was excellent. The place had no cooking pot and he gave us a rice cooker so we could cook with peace of mind. The place is very comfortable, large beds and has 7 rooms, ideal for our walk, since we are a large family. It has an office to do WFH and in all the rooms there is air conditioning, this I loved. Near the house, just 500 meters away is Manzanillo Beach, 20 minutes from Santa Teresa, next to the house there is a bakery and supermarket, ideal for shopping. Loved the place, 10/10. We'll definitely come back.

Fue una experiencia única y maravillosa. Desde el momento que llegamos, una calle estaba cerrada y el encargado(Elkin) de recibirnos, llegó por nosotros al punto para ubicarnos rápidamente al lugar. Íbamos con la mascota y don Elkin nos colabora cerrando el terreno con unas mallas para evitar que se nos escapara nuestro perrito. El servicio y atención que nos brindó don Elkin, desde el día que llegamos fue excelente. El lugar no tenía olla para cocinar y el nos brindó una olla arrocera para que pudiéramos cocinar con tranquilidad. El lugar es muy cómoda, camas grandes y tiene 7 cuartos, ideal para nuestro paseo, ya que somos una familia grande. Dispone de una oficina para hacer WFH y en todas las habitaciones hay aire acondicionado, esto me encantó. Cerca de la casa, a solo 500mts está la playa Manzanillo, a 20 minutos Santa Teresa, a la par de la casa hay una panadería y supermercado, ideal para comprar. Me encantó el lugar, 10 de 10. Definitivamente vamos a volver.
