This is a remote location and private. Beautiful, well-built, modern home that matches all the pictures. Very nice pool and landscaping. The road to the house is a bit rough as many roads are in CR. However, we never needed 4 wheel drive and we were visiting during rainy season and it was certainly rainy the week we were there. Fabrice and Miho live very close and were always available without ever being intrusive. We had one small issue with the dryer (probably operator error) and Fabrice was real quick to come over and fix whatever it was we were doing wrong. There are many beaches within 15-60 minutes from the house. Our favorite was Playa Real. Beautiful, quiet beach and we were the only patrons when we visited. It was quite an adventure getting there with sketchy roads. But it was a much better than the tourist trap beaches like Tamarindo. Several decent restaurants within 30 minutes of the location. But again, this is a remote location which is what we were looking for.

Me and my family had a great time. the house was extremely spacious, each room had its own bathroom. we loved the common areas and beautiful view. We traveled with kids and the house was very kid friendly, one level, it even had Monopoly and and some mat for kids. The pool is pretty deep, so bring floaties for kids, but other than that it was great :)

We booked this villa for 9 nights for our family of four (2 adults + 2 pre-teens). We really enjoyed our stay because the villa was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need. Our favorite spot was the large pool/patio area with the beautiful ocean view. The bonus was meeting Fabrice (the owner) during our stay. What an amazing person with so much insight about the region. He made our experience in Costa Rica so much better! Thank you, Fabrice :-) The villa is located in the mountains so if you like the idea of staying in a quiet area away from the crowds (with spectacular views), then this villa certainly delivers. The closest beach was about 15 minutes away (by car) with many local restaurants within 15-30 minutes. We saw howler monkeys on many occasions beside the villa and tried surfing and bodyboarding at the beach. One of the highlights of our beach experience was Lola’s. In addition to the restaurant (right on the beach), you can reserve an umbrella (with chairs) for the day (with drink/food service). It felt like a resort experience, but more private. Fabrice’s response time was within a few minutes before and during our stay (so communication was quick and easy), and the description and photos within the listing are accurate. Overall, the property definitely met our expectations!

The owners were wonderful, responsive, quick with a positive and wonderful vibe. The house was clean, beautiful and the sunsets, always amazing! We also loved some spot close from the house (restaurants), not too far from Tamarindo and another villages.

The house is located in a very quiet area and the view is indeed incredible. We spent 7 days there and enjoyed the sunset every evening. The hosts, Miho and Fabrice, are very helpful. We had a small issue with the AC unit in the master bedroom and Fabrice fixed it within an hour. The pool is great and long enough for laps if you need to exercise. We were only 4 but the house can easily accommodate 2 families.
