We love staying here! We have been to this area multiple times and this was our 2nd time renting this house. It’s in the hills just a couple of minutes drive from Tamarindo/Langosta. The views are breathtaking and the setup is fantastic with multiple casitas and a large common area. Highly recommend! The concierge can help set up anything you need. We went in an amazing fishing trip and caught grouper and red snapper, we also took a sunset sailing cruise on an incredible catamaran and enjoyed snorkeling and paddleboarding. We took advantage of grocery delivery and chef services to maximize our time adventuring! We will be back!

We had several families with us,teenagers included, and having our own little bungalows was absolutely perfect. Everyone had their own space to escape to whenever they needed a breather, which made the whole trip smoother for all of us. And the ladies who came to cook for us? Amazing doesn’t even begin to cover it. Do NOT skip that option. It was hands‑down the best food we ate the entire trip. The pool right outside those big glass doors was its own slice of heaven. Our kids practically lived in it, we had to drag them out just to go into town. It truly felt like a little piece of paradise. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone and everyone.

Would give it more than 5/5 stars if I could. Great experience throughout. Adriana was extremely helpful and very responsive the whole time. Lisseth could not have been better. I came here with a group of 13 and everyone had an amazing experience. Would highly recommend for any one looking to have an amazing time in Tamarindo🙌

If you’re traveling to Tamarindo with a group of friends, 1000% book this place!! Great Location right next to all of the shops & restaurants. Very walkable area! We felt safe the entire time. The hill up to the house is rough but it makes for a good workout LOL. The view is amazing!!! The pictures of the house do not give it enough justice. The Housekeeper made great breakfast & was constantly checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything. The host Adriana was very responsive from the moment we booked until the day we checked out. She provided us with lots of information to prepare for our trip. We would definitely book again!

We just returned from our stay and have to say the property was exactly as photographed. Absolutely perfect set up for our family with adult children, traveling with partners. Great common spaces for hanging out together (and a view one cannot get enough of), but with each party getting their own casita, ample privacy for everyone. It is as others noted up quite a hill and a rocky road, and so do not expect to be walkable to town or beach, but either rent the off road polaris or a 4X4 suv and you will manage fine. We elected for the elite premium service and have to say the daily breakfast and housekeeping by the amazing Lisette, plus airport xfers and one awesome taco dinner, made this feel like own private hotel. Highly recommend!

Casa Puesta de Sol was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff truly made the stay effortless—especially Lizeth, who did an incredible job keeping us well-fed in the mornings and keeping our rooms extremely clean. She stayed on top of everything and handled every request we had. If anything came up, it was fixed immediately. Any appliance issues were taken care of right away—Adriana or Lizeth would have someone come out and repair it without delay, which made the whole stay feel smooth and stress-free. The location is also unbeatable. The house sits at the top of Tamarindo and the sunsets are unreal—easily some of the best you could ever ask for. The views alone make it worth it. If you’re up for an adventure, you can walk down to the beach, but getting back up is a challenge. Luckily, most Ubers will still come up to the house as long as they have all-wheel drive, so transportation wasn’t a problem, don’t forget to tip them! :) Overall, this house is worth every penny.
