The most beautiful beach, lovely sand, walk into the water from the back door. Fabulous chilled out bar/cafe two doors down on the beach. Great sunny terrace and loungers by the pool. It’s the only villa with a pool on this stretch of the beach. Only warning would be to avoid driving to Tulum beach restaurants of an evening in high season unless you’re a fan of bumper to bumper traffic in both directions along the whole strip. Hollie and Jorge were great hosts.

This was our first time visiting the area, and we had an amazing stay! The location is incredibly central and made it easy to explore Tulum, the cenotes, Akumal, and Playa del Carmen. We loved the restaurant recommendations, and there’s even a super cute beach bar just a two-minute walk down the beach. The house itself is gorgeous, well-kept, and the pool was such a highlight. The onsite staff were also wonderful — friendly, helpful, and made everything feel seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

5 stars all around for Playa Hermosa. 7 of us stayed for a full week and we had the best vacation ever. Highlights: William, Claudia and Diego are stand outs as they are the kindest hosts. William and Claudia prepared dinner for us for two nights. The ceviche and the shrimp were delicious. And Diego made us feel safe as he patrolled the property at night. Another highlight: the pool!!!!! Perfect temperature and so nice to swim in the ocean and then jump in the pool with a cocktail in hand. We will definitely be back! Thank you Hollie and Jorge.

We had a wonderful stay! Not only was the home beautiful, private, and spacious, but Hollie was an amazing host! Always responsive, kind, and understanding. We had a last minute family emergency and needed to change our travel dates - Hollie was completely understanding and was able to accommodate our date change request. During our stay Hollie was always quick to respond to any questions we had! The home is in a great peaceful location, and being right on the beach was perfect for my family with 4 kids of different ages! We hardly left the house our entire trip because we enjoyed it so much! House manager William was also amazing and the meals he prepared for us were delightful! All in all, wonderful stay and made our first time in Tulum a blast!

My family had a great vacation staying in Holly and Jorge's home. The house and the pool are absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed spending time outside reading by the pool and playing in the pool with our kids throughout the day and even into late evening. Holly and Jorge are extremely thoughtful and the home was prepared with all the things we could need including abundant beach towels, really good ground coffee, enough jugs of bottled water for our stay, sunscreen, bug spray....the list goes on and on. We have stayed in many Airbnb's and this one is truly one of the best. We also loved how quiet and peaceful the location was but that there were many fun activities we could do during our vacation like snorkeling with turtles, sea fishing with William, snorkeling in cozumel, visiting the Tulum ruins and the cenotes in the area and all the delicious taco restaurants in Tulum. The house was very comfortable and relaxing for our family. We had a wonderful time.

Hollie and Jorge were amazing hosts. The location was perfect (except for the seaweed which they can’t control). The beach bar & restaurant down the beach was great. The home was clean and the outside area was beautiful. Beds were comfy as well! We also had William make breakfast two mornings and dinner one evening - it was so good & he and his wife are so accommodating. Lastly, we felt so secure with Armando, the security guard. Thank you Hollie!!

It was my first time in Tulum area. Was looking for an amazing place to stay and I found it. William took us fishing, cooked a few amazing meals for us. Host was very responsive. Worth the price

Beautiful spot, kids- 12,15,18 - ranked the home (in aggregate) as the top highlight among many memorable activities…especially the days lounging by the pool. Secure, comfortable and overall very easy. Bikini Bar is a 2 min walk (if that) and great food and service. Akumal only a 7 min drive with a local market that has most everything. Downtown Tulum with great restaurants is less than 30 minutes . William is very helpful (enjoyed a boat ride to Akumal for snorkeling) with added on site security.

We had an incredible stay in Tulum, and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Hollie and Jorge's communication was outstanding from the moment we booked. They were quick to respond and ensured that we had everything we needed. The place was well-equipped with snorkel gear, beach chairs, and even spare sunblock—everything you could possibly need for a perfect beach getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the meal services from William and Claudia. It was such a treat to arrive and find a delicious dinner waiting for us, and breakfast the next morning was equally amazing. Having that convenience made our trip even more relaxing. Armando and William were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. Overall, this was one of the best stays we've had, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place. Chef William and his wife were amazing. Hermando was also nice. We will be going back!
