Located in Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica, Villa Mila offers access to uncrowded white-sand beaches like Playa Nacascolo and the members-only Prieta Beach Club. Dine at the peninsula’s top restaurants, work on your serve at the tennis center, or splurge on a resort pass to the Four Seasons or Andaz to enjoy even more beaches and pools.
Guest Access
Two golf carts are available for rent at $80 per day (four-seater) and $100 (six-seater), which is the best method of transportation around the peninsula. Rental cars are not needed for your stay, and transportation from the airport can be arranged.
Please note that Four Seasons hotel amenities are $200 for four passes; kids club is extra. Our concierge can help with booking it. Restaurants are available to everyone, and we recommend making reservations based on daily availability from the hotel.

We loved our visit to Shan's place. The penthouse was beautiful, clean, and spacious for our group of 8. The kids loved the bunk beds. The host/concierge was very responsive and attentive. I loved that housekeeping was included! The views were incredible and the golf cart was perfect. We highly recommended staying here!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful. The space was beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly clean—everything felt fresh, comfortable, and well cared for from the moment we arrived. The hosts were fantastic. They were welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention to detail really stood out. We had such a memorable stay at Villa Mila. The space itself is gorgeous and incredibly spacious, and we loved that every bedroom had its own balcony and patio area. Renting golf carts was a game changer for exploring the peninsula and made getting around so easy and fun. Some of our favorite moments included countless monkey sightings right from the villa, a delicious private dinner at the house by chef Gustavo, and afternoons at the beach clubs at the various resorts nearby. One piece of honest feedback: the concierge service was inconsistent in the weeks leading up to our trip. We were passed between three different points of contact, which led to some miscommunication and missed details. Given the price point, we expected that part of the experience to feel more seamless and it caused a lot of back and forth during the trip itself which was frustrating while actively on vacation. That said, the villa itself is truly special and we left with so many wonderful memories!

The home is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and the views are truly spectacular. Pictures don’t even do it justice. It felt very private, peaceful, and we also felt very safe since it’s tucked away in a gated community. A special shoutout to Ruth, who was incredible from start to finish, she arranged our transportation and was always there anytime we needed her. She truly made our stay seamless and stress-free. One of my favorite little details was the amazing water pressure after long days at the beach, such a small thing that made a big difference! A few helpful tips for future guests: the golf cart is a must, it makes getting around so much easier and more enjoyable. Be sure to stock up on water before arriving at the home. And definitely take advantage of the Four Seasons resort pass, it’s absolutely worth it and really elevates the experience. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had an incredible stay at this home. The house itself is absolutely amazing—beautifully designed with stunning décor that makes every space feel both luxurious and comfortable. The location is perfect, with so much to do nearby. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, everything is easily accessible and adds to the overall experience. The concierge service was also fantastic—responsive, helpful, and made our stay seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this property. We would definitely come back!

Our second year in a row staying at Vila Mila and absolutely love this place. Ana our concierge was amazing and was always available for anything we needed. The Penthouse is beautiful and the view is absolutely amazing. Housekeeping came in every day and left our place spotless every day.
