The Space
Relax in this modern tropical home featuring a private pool. The property, named Las Almas Errantes (The Wandering Souls), was newly built in 2024 and is situated within a gated community. It includes a backup generator, water reserve tank, and WiFi to ensure a comfortable stay.
The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living areas make it easy to spend quality time with family or friends. The house’s unique design allows you to sit comfortably on the couch under a ceiling fan while still interacting with guests in the pool. Large sliding doors in both the living room and master bedroom open directly to the pool area, inviting you to relax, sunbathe, or take a refreshing swim.
There are three cozy bedrooms:
- Master bedroom: queen-size bed, small walk-in closet, en suite bathroom with shower
- Second bedroom: full-size bed, large built-in closet
- Third bedroom: twin bunk beds, large built-in closet
The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience and includes:
- French press for coffee (directions available upon request)
- Toaster
- Rice cooker
- Wok
- Air fryer (used for reheating, no microwave provided)
For fitness enthusiasts, two yoga mats and a set of free weights are available.
Location
The property is a short walk from the community beachfront area on Playa Marsella, which offers restrooms and shaded seating. Playa Maderas is a 7-minute drive or a 30-minute walk away. The town center, with shopping and dining options, is approximately 15 minutes from the house.
If you prefer, produce delivery or late-night pizza can be arranged.
Howler monkeys are often seen nearby during the mornings and evenings.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire home and private pool. The community beachfront area includes:
- Restrooms with flush toilets
- Outdoor shower
- Grill
- Shaded and covered seating areas
Additional Information
- The area is tropical forest, so expect occasional buzzing insects and free-roaming animals.
- During the wet season, heavy rains may affect road conditions. A 4x4 vehicle might be necessary to reach the property or beach area during these times.
- Power and water outages can occur occasionally in San Juan del Sur. To maintain comfort, the house has a backup generator and water reserve. Guests are responsible for the generator’s fuel costs.
- The house includes a daily electricity allowance of 30 kilowatt-hours. Usage beyond this limit will incur a charge of $0.50 USD per kilowatt-hour.
- For air conditioning, it is recommended to set the temperature between 26-28 degrees Celsius and use the timer function on the remote control.

Es una casa hermosa en un condominio privado llenos de árboles y plantas de todo tipo las fotos no dimensionan lo hermosa que es los acabados en madera de lujo la arquitectura tendrán mucha paz , fácil acceso a todo , el señor que nos recibió súper atento a nosotros no de verdad fue una estadía hermosa

El lugar es muy bonito y acogedor, perfecto para relajarse. Sin embargo, tuvimos varios inconvenientes importantes durante la estancia: el servicio de electricidad fallaba constantemente . Además, la casa no tenía agua caliente y faltaron elementos muy básicos, como jabón de baño, café, azúcar y un chorreador para prepararlo. Con mejoras en estos detalles, la experiencia sería excelente.

Our family enjoyed our short stay at Sarah’s house. The pool was the big winner and our 3 year old especially loved having a good size shallow side she could play in by herself. The house was just as described and I appreciated Sarah’s responsiveness. Johny, who looks after her property was also very responsive to my questions. I love Marsella Beach because it’s so chill compared to San Juan next door but it was also nice to be so close to different amenities and restaurants. Overall, we had good stay!

Un lugar especial que llenó todas nuestras expectativas, perfecto para pasarla bien en familia y moverse para los diferentes lugares de San Juan del Sur. Beautiful home, very clean and very comfortable. Sarah was extremely easy to communicate with and so attentive. The monkeys in the surrounding trees were an absolute hit with the kids! The only note I might make is that having a vehicle would really be beneficial for getting around the area, accessing restaurants and exploring, especially if travelling with younger kids. We felt a bit limited with no car. Mind you, some of the walks were made much more difficult due to a recent storm as well as travelling during the rainy season. All in all, our stay was a positive one and Sarah was quick to come up with some delicious delivery options for supper when walking to a restaurant wasn’t possible. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Nice stay. House was comfortable. It was conveniently located a short drive from SJDS in a complex right before a roundabout coming from SJDS. The pool is in the front yard, so not totally private, but still nice and fun for the kids. We saw howler monkeys in the complex near the river!

i have to start saying that i love the house and such a beautiful place to be. quiet peaceful place. sarah was a quick responsive person. she made sure we were like home. the pool was clean all the time. felt safe. a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach. our family enjoyed it and we were able to see san juan del sur amazing view. we will for sure come back. thank you sarah for your hospitality and always checking up on us.
