The air bnb in its self was lovely. Had a minor hicccup with the lock upon arrival. What’s misleading is the pool it’s a shared pool that’s located in the front of the community and open to anyone utilizing the gym it’s not private. The air bnb is hours away from any great beaches I felt like we stayed on the wrong side of the island no fault to the host! However we found a gem on our visit my friends and I call it the witches restaurant lol! Food is exceptional we went 3 times and they didn’t miss a beat with the flavors!!! It’s call Escazu’ if u ever wanna go u won’t be disappointed! We wished the air bnb had more or I should say brighter lighting and full length mirrors! What I thought was really strange while we were there and had an entire 24 hours left before check out our host sent us a check out reminder at 6 am in the morning I thought the timing for sending that to guests was a lil inconsiderate as that notification woke us all out our sleeps!

Great family-friendly spot! Prime location near plenty of food and shopping options. The hosts were super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back. - Dom & Erik were wonderful hosts - incredibly responsive, helpful and so kind. - The house is kept very clean - you can tell it’s been well very looked after & cared for down to the little details (ie even the fridge water filters seem to be kept up to date). - The amenities are top quality & you have everything you need - great kitchen utensils, pots, pans, glass containers, blender, toaster, TV with soundbar etc. - While you have apartments either side, you don’t actually notice them once you’re inside - it feels quite private as they can’t see into the house at any point. Even the backyard has a privacy wall. - The future is top quality, and doesn’t feel like a million people have used it, which is lovely. Again, all kept really clean & new.

This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. My kids and I felt so at home and welcomed by the hosts. The townhouse is beautifully appointed, and the garden is absolutely enchanting. It made it hard to leave to go out and explore and eat! We will absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Iguana. It is a nice house in a gated neighborhood. The kitchen was really well equipped, the house was really clean and nice. It is a peaceful place where we could have a gateway from busy Escazu. I would definitely recommend this house and I think we will come again someday.

We loved our stay and can’t recommend the place enough! The place was even more beautiful in person and the yard is amazing! We were traveling with our dog and to my surprise this place wasn’t just pet friendly - they made sure our dog enjoyed her stay too by including a dog bed, dishes, leashes, toys and chew bones!! It’s also in a secure and guarded place with tons of great amenities. I can’t say enough good things… will 10/10 be coming back when we are in San Jose again!

This place is literally the best. The hosts were super helpful, always take them up on Vanessa cooking (she’s amazing), and the pool right outside the condo is convenient and beautiful. I’d live here if I could… 10/10

Erik and Dominique were very attentive and provided us with excellent service! Casa Iguana is very well located, close to all the places we needed to go in Escazu. All services are very close and of good quality. The house is very beautiful, very well decorated, with a lot of good taste and equipped with everything you need. Gated condominium, the security staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a dog park and swimming pool in common areas. Highly recommended, we will surely return! Thank you very much!!

Todos los servicios muy cerca y de buena calidad. La casa esta muy hermosa, muy bien decorada , con mucho buen gusto y equipada con todo lo necesario. Condominio cerrado, el staff de seguridad muy amables y atentos. Hay un parque para perros y piscina en áreas comunes. Ampliamente recomendable, nosotros seguramente regresaremos! Muchas Gracias!!

Excellent host, and one of the best equipped homes we have stayed in!! Very well decorated and sure made you feel the luxury component that this place offers. Directly around the corner from the unit is common area with conference rooms , gym, and an elegant lap pool backed by a forested setting! Highly recommended option!!

This was a peaceful oasis near the center of town. The house was beautiful and clean, the owner was friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

As good as it gets! A clean, well appointed space (especially the kitchen) with a lap pool and workout gym close by, this is a wonderful place to stay. Dom was responsive, helpful and flexible with requests. Helpful restaurant recommendations added value. Two thumbs up!

This home is beautiful. Such amazing quality stuff, comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Dominique was always so responsive and considerate. It came with a maid 3 days a week and she was so sweet and respectful. We definitely would stay there again.

Dominique and Erik were exceptional host! They were in communication with me from the moment I booked the stay, the day of arrival and check out. The house is in a secure gated community with 24-hour security. The house was in immaculate condition. The pictures are great, but it is even nicer in person. I am very picky about where I sleep, and I felt right at home. The attention to detail was spot on. The furniture, dining room, bedrooms, outdoor patio area were well put together. Even down to the appliances, washer, dryer and silverware. This unit is also right next to the two conference rooms, pool and gym. Every morning, I went on walk in town and the people were so friendly and welcoming. There are a ton on grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries and even a few pharmacies within minutes of this unit. I was so impressed, Domonique and Erik put in touch with their realtor, and I am looking into purchasing my own unit! Well done gents. See you in Costa soon. Pura Vida!

Definitely would return if staying in San Jose. What stood out to me the most was how responsive, respectful and welcoming Dominique and Erik both were! Also how safe the area and condo was. Highly recommend if staying in San Jose area. Also very close to many great restaurants, parks and the market.

Dominique’s place was so great ! the Airbnb is located in a private and posh neighborhood. Our host was communicative and was willing to help with travel recommendations. He was also very quick to answer any questions. I highly recommend him !!!

Dominique and Eric were a pleasure to deal with when booking and staying at Casa Iguana. Pictures reflect the residence and furnishings and bountiful towels and sheets were available as well as a fully stocked and usable kitchen, and several functional large TVs with mostly anything you may desire. Beds were comfortable and the location is in a peaceful hilly serene neighborhood known as San Antonio de Escazu. Uber access was swift and the doorman communication was seamless. I will be staying here again in the future when returning to the Escazu area of San Jose. Hosts were responsive, reliable, attentive, and considerate. Maid service is three times weekly and worked well. Overall, exceptional stay and plan to utilize this “casita” again in the future.

This property is outstanding, with stunning interiors and a beautiful garden view, especially at night. The home feels like a luxury hotel, complete with thoughtful amenities like extra towels and air conditioning in all bedrooms for nighttime comfort. Its location near the pool makes it perfect for a day of relaxation, and nearby restaurants recommended by the host were excellent. Overall, a highly recommended stay—worth booking!
