The Space
Welcome to Casa California, a modern luxury home offering over 2,400 square feet of living space within the private gated community of Hacienda Iguana. This contemporary residence is situated just steps from Playa Colorados beach, directly across from the renowned Playa Colorados surf break and near Pili's Beach Club restaurant.
The open floor plan features an oversized kitchen island with seating and stylish contemporary furnishings throughout. The spacious living room includes a large-format television, perfect for enjoying weekend sports, and there is a separate dining area for meals.
Outside, the home boasts a beautiful pool accompanied by an outdoor shower. Adjacent to the pool is a large, enclosed grassy yard with vibrant landscaping, providing a private and relaxing outdoor space. Photographic wall art by Nicaraguan photographer Jersson Barboza adds a local cultural touch throughout the home.
For security, cameras are installed around the perimeter. Daily housekeeping and laundry services are included.
Bedrooms and Sleeping Arrangements
Casa California accommodates up to five adults across two detached suites overlooking the swimming pool:
- Suite #1: King-size bed
- Suite #2: Two twin beds that can be combined into a king-size bed, plus a separate trundle bed
Both suites come equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, wardrobes with vanities, and private room safes.
Guest Access
Guests have access to a private driveway for vehicle parking if needed. Within the community, golf carts, motorcycles, and bicycles are available for rent.
Additional Information
- Maximum occupancy is five people.
- No parties or large gatherings are permitted. (Parties incur an additional fee.)

Fantastic stay! The house was spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and you couldn't beat the location—just steps away from the surf beach and beach club. The host was incredibly attentive and provided great communication from start to finish, making the whole stay smooth and effortless. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time at Adam’s place. The location was perfect, the house and pool were beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and dining setup had everything we needed. Adam was very helpful and a great host. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Unfortunately I was unable to stay because the day of my arrival the host informed me nothing was working in the unit. Not the tv , air condition, nothing that requires a generator. The conclusion was draw that he would cancel and refund me but didn’t do so until I involved Airbnb. I understand things happen as I am an Airbnb host as well. But helping the tenant locate another accommodation would’ve been extremely helpful and considerate. Never the less I handled the situation as best as I could but super inconvenient. I do appreciate the heads up until waiting until I arrived at the door.

Family of 5 and both the accommodation and Adam could not have been more welcoming. We have stayed in several homes over the years in Nicaragua and this place demanded CHILL from us all. The couch was so nice to watch a movie (not always a given around here) … indoor/outdoor living on max and the location to the beach and hub could not have been more perfect. We would absolutely return knowing a true sense of relaxation is awaiting us.
