Welcome to Matapalo 102 at the Diria Resort, a luxury 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo located on the ground level with an excellent position in Tamarindo. This spacious unit offers over 1,500 square feet of living space, including a large terrace with ample outdoor seating. The condo is professionally furnished with high-end decor and features a private gas barbecue on the terrace.

Inside, you will find:

Plasma TV in the family room with cable
High-speed WiFi and central air conditioning
Two large bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom
- Master bedroom with a king-size bed and TV
- Guest bedroom with two full-size beds and a flat-screen TV

Additional amenities include complimentary essentials such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, shampoo, and soap. The condo also provides beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler, and more for your convenience.

For entertainment, a PlayStation 4 is available to enjoy quality time with family or friends. Travel cribs can be arranged through the concierge upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.

Location and Resort Access

Matapalo 102 is part of the Diria Resort, the only beachfront resort in Tamarindo. The condo overlooks a pristine garden area and a 10,000-square-foot free-form pool exclusively accessible to condo guests. From the resort, you have direct access to Tamarindo Beach, as well as the Diria shops and restaurants.

Please note:

Resort facilities require guests aged 12 and older to wear a wristband.
Prior to arrival, the concierge will request guest details, including full names and passport photos, to prepare wristbands in advance.
Hotel amenities such as towels, the Tropicana pool, lounge chairs, and gym are reserved for hotel guests only.
Pool and beach towels, along with foldable chairs, are provided free of charge for condo guests.

We had a great stay in this Tamarindo condo. We really enjoyed the super easy access to the beautiful pool and a very short walk to the beach and all of Tamarindo’s restaurants. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay with Blue Zone Experience in Tamarindo. The condo was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and in an excellent location that made it easy for our family to enjoy everything Tamarindo has to offer. The property and pool area were beautiful, and it was a great home base for our vacation. The Blue Zone team was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay, and we really appreciated their hospitality and customer service. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Tamarindo and had a very positive experience with Blue Zone Experience. We would definitely stay with them again on a future trip to Costa Rica.

We spent my favorite family vacation week ever here. The condo was immaculate. The kitchen and the laundry room are well stocked. There are books, games, puzzles, pool noodles, and beach chairs we appreciated using. The blackout curtains work great, we slept like rocks. Pillows were comfy. The first floor condo made getting to the pool with our young kids easy. We love this pool. It was very fun, never too cold, interesting. Getting to the beach was very easy with the El Diria beach access that came with the condo. You simply walk out the gate, cross the street into El Diria, and walk through their pool area to the beach. Tamarindo beach itself is a dream. Go at low tide as high tide covers the whole beach. The sand was beautiful and wide when the tide was out, the water warm, and when we were there the surf was great for playing, boogie boarding, and surfing in. The part of town we were in was also perfect. Walkable and peaceful but close to the action. 100/10.

I can not say how much we all LOVED this rental without writing a whole book. This place has everything you could ever want and need. Absolutely in the heart of everything, yet quiet and relaxing. No need to rent a car (which we did, but only used to get too and from the airport), everything is at your fingertips. The swim up bar is a huge bonus! Yarilany is a gem at the bar. The unit is huge and super clean and the half bath (which we missed in the description) was an added bonus. We would look for an item and think, wish they had this or that and we would eventually find it. They have everything you could ever need while on vacation. The host reached out several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The safe was a bit tricky, not quite the same as in the instructions, but I managed to figure it out. We have done MANY Airbnb's and VRBOs, this stands out as one of the best we have had the pleasure of staying in. Thanks so much to Blue Zone for everything!

Loved this condo! the space was great and well equipped. The kids (and adults) loved the patio leading out to the pool. The location is awesome we didn't need a car the whole time we could walk to the beach and the 100's of nearby restaurants. I had a few questions and requests while staying here and the hosts were attentive and solved all my issues quickly and helped book shuttle services and the like when I needed them. Had a great stay and would definitely come again.

Matapalo 102 was excellent. It is very nice, clean, modern, comfortable. The tile and ceiling trim are extra attention to details that made the unit feel luxurious. Ground floor is a huge plus. There is a nice patio, direct access to the pool and through the property to access the beach. The real superpower to this condo is you are authorized to have access through the Diria Beach Resort right outside the gate with a crosswalk. You can walk right through the lobby to access the beach and you never have to worry about parking. The pool is huge and very nice with zero entry at every entry point and a swim up bar. Beds were very comfortable. Everything is very walkable. It is a great location.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious and very clean. The location was wonderful, as well. The pool is right outside your door, great restaurants within walking distance and the beach is just a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends. The howler monkeys in the tree by the pool was a huge plus!!
