The Space

Pacific Ave. 6 is a peaceful, centrally located two-story condominium that was completely renovated as of May 28, 2023. This 2-bedroom unit accommodates up to 6 guests and is in pristine condition with all new furnishings and appliances.

On the first floor, you will find:

• A fully equipped kitchen
• Dining area with a glass table and six chairs
• Living room furnished with a leather sofa and chair
• Laundry room adjacent to the kitchen
• Half bathroom

The second floor includes:

• Master bedroom with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and full closet
• Second bedroom featuring two queen-size beds, a closet, and an ensuite bathroom

Amenities

• Free parking space next to the entrance (suitable for a small car)
• Air conditioning units on the first floor and in each bedroom
• High-speed internet at 200 Mbps with a booster tower on the second floor
• Roku devices in the living room and master bedroom, providing access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and hundreds of other channels

Guest Supplies

Guests are provided with:

• Four beach chairs (replacement fee of $100 per chair if lost or stolen)
• Eight beach towels
• Laundry room access with washer, dryer, and detergent
• Kitchen essentials including ground coffee, a small starter milk carton, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, popcorn (with a popcorn machine), paper towels, dish soap, dishcloths, and sponges
• Bathroom supplies such as toilet paper in each bathroom, 10 bath towels, 10 hand towels, 10 washcloths, and an extra set of sheets for each bed

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire property.

Location and Additional Information

La Buena Vida is a quiet complex with only nine units, some of which are owner-occupied full-time. It is conveniently located in town within walking distance of restaurants and other amenities.

While outside, you may notice minor traffic noise, but the condo and pool area remain very peaceful. The main road is currently unpaved but is scheduled for paving soon. Until then, the second-floor balcony may accumulate dust daily.

Window screens have been removed, so guests are encouraged to use the air conditioning and ceiling fans indoors to manage dust.

Water is limited in Guanacaste, and electricity costs in Costa Rica are high at $0.22 per kilowatt-hour, approximately four to five times higher than in North America. To help keep rental costs reasonable, guests are kindly asked to:

• Turn off air conditioning and lights when leaving the unit
• Use the washer and dryer only when necessary
• Keep showers short despite the appeal of hot, long showers
