Home in Isla Mujeres

Sylvia’s beachfront house is truly one of a kind and a gem. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort for the first half of our trip, but once we transitioned to Sylvia’s house we felt like our island vacation started. Check-in was accommodating and seamless. The house was clean and ready for our arrival, to include Sylvia checking in with us to make sure all went well. We’re a family of 4 and we had more than enough space and each bedroom had its own full bathroom. The heated pool/back patio was where we spent a majority of our time. The view and direct access to the beach was amazing as well. We would soak up the sunrise and afternoon sun by the pool and then move to the rooftop for the evening and watch the sunset. The beds were very cozy and having a/c in each room made the house very comfortable. When we return to the island we will definitely be rebooking with Sylvia. This family vacation was amazing and staying in this house helped create lasting memories.

Absolutely spectacular views, really incredible Airbnb, heated pool, and incredibly kind service. The place is magical and not to be missed.

Loved our stay! Great location and the view was amazing. The pool was perfect for keeping our kids entertained while we relaxed. Great place, highly recommend!

Beds were very comfortable. The pool heater was not working correctly and they send pool man over the next day to repair. Lawn man gave us suggestions on golf cart and drove us there . Cleaning staff very responsive, no English. Great stay!

We loved the coffee and drinking water provided. Loved all the hooks for hanging clothes and drying towels/swim suits. Loved and used all the seating areas - upstairs deck, pool deck, kitchen island perfect for playing games. The location mid-island was great to be away from the chaos of North Beach, and yet the whole island was easy to navigate with our rented golfcart. Great parking spot for golf cart. It was perfect for our 5 ladies.

Sylvia place was beautiful and great location, very comfortable, awesome views and nice heated pool. I would definitely stay again, Thank you!

Great location and beautiful place! close enough to the north end of the island via cart. nice to have a private bathroom for each bedroom. host was responsive and helpful.

We were here in January and although it was a bit windy, we were able to beach comb for treasures and watch the cruise ships pass in the night. The pool was nice after a beach day or afternoon hang out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals and a nice big counter where we played games at night. It was nice to have a bathroom accessible for each bedroom and my father said he wanted to get the exact mattress provided, as he has back issues and it didn’t hurt when he slept. It’s walkable to restaurants and convenience stores in La Gloria, but close to north. We did have a golf cart to drive the island which I would recommend or another mode (bike or moped) of getting around.
