Rio Celeste Springs Blue Lodge Hotel

Una cabaña bastante linda, amplia y linda. El baño es amplio y cómodo. Está perfectamente ubicada al frente del parque nacional volcán Tenorio lo cual facilita muchas cosas. Incluyen el desayuno y cuenta con restaurante para el almuerzo, la comida estuvo bien, pero también existe la posibilidad de restaurantes a menos de 500 metros. Solo tener cuidado con el Check-in debido a que es presencial y no es hará tan tarde debido a que en la noche es muy solo el sector.

We used to live in Costa Rica and have traveled all over the country for the past 25 years. We chose to stay at this hotel due to its proximity to the entrance to the National Park. The rooms were very clean and the property was nicely landscaped. You need to have access to a car to stay at this location. Unfortunately, we arrived by private transport and didn't realize that the location was isolated without a vehicle. We never met Oliver but did contact him via Airbnb several times due to the spotty WIFI service. He was quick to respond. We were disappointed in the customer service from the employees. After one of the employees quoted us $80 for a taxi ride 5 minutes to a local reserve, we asked for a local taxi number. No one was able to provide this to us. We later found a local guide who gave us three taxi numbers to use during our stay. The normal price from the hotel to town is only $20 which is over a 15 min. ride. As Airbnb hosts ourselves, we were disappointed.

great stay. literally right in front of the rio celeste entrance. loved seeing the farm animals. we stayed in one of the newer units on the hill and had an amazing view!

Came late afternoon the day before we were to hike the Rio Celeste waterfall. The entrance to the park is right across the road. Need to secure tickets online to enter the park. Rafael was very helpful in this regard and went above and beyond! He stayed to help much longer than he needed to. I really appreciated his assistance!

L'emplacement est juste parfait pour faire la visite du Rio Celeste ! Il n'y a qu'à traverser la route pour être à l'entrée du Parc National Tenorio, où se trouve le rio et la cascade. On peut laisser la voiture près des logements pendant la balade. L'accueil est très agréable, avec un jus frais offert à chacun. Le petit déjeuner est correct. Nous avons aussi pris le repas de midi après la randonnée : simple, mais bon et pas cher. Et surtout, on veut remercier Rafael, qui nous a très bien accueillis hier soir mais surtout qui a sauvé notre journée !!! Nous n'avions pas réussi la veille à réserver sur le site sinac. Il a vu ce matin qu'on était toujours bloqués. Il est allé chercher un ordinateur pour qu'on puisse faire la réservation dessus. Un employé tellement impliqué pour le bien-être des clients, c'est rare... et très agréable. Du coup, on a convaincu deux autres touristes de venir pour le déjeuner. 😊

We were very happy with our stay. Get the earliest entry time at Tenoria park across the street and stay here to beat the crowds on the path to the stunning Rio Celeste waterfall! The included breakfast was good and so convenient! Everyone friendly and welcoming. And the goats, turkeys, roosters, and cows at the farm right behind the rooms will make sure you do not oversleep!
