The 2-acre property contains two villas separated by gardens to ensure privacy. Each villa has its own driveway and pool, both offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and jungle-covered mountains. The gardens produce seasonal tropical fruits such as limes, papayas, mangos, and bananas.
The home is furnished primarily with locally sourced and handmade items, reflecting Costa Rican culture and providing an authentic experience.

Guest Access
Guests have full access to the villa and gardens. The property is about one mile from the main road (Costanera Sur, Highway 34) and less than two miles from the closest grocery store. The road leading to the villa is paved except for a flat gravel section. While four-wheel drive is not necessary, it is recommended during the rainy season (May through November).

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 6. The climb up in the car was typical Costa Rica, with the car wheezing to make it given our heavy load. Opening the door to the property was like entering a different luxury realm. Absolutely stunning view with a pool from the movies. The property was pristine and beds very comfortable with lovely en-suites x 2. We had 3 fantastic days here re-charging and whale viewing etc. We saw more toucans/parrots here than in Corcovado. Each morning was a treat to take in the view, spot birds and swim. Shirley was super helpful. Highly recommended.

Loretta's house has an idyllic location offering a very extensive view of the ocean. Surrounded by lots of trees, you will get to see amazing birds and family of capuchins especially at sunset. It's very serene. The house is quite comfortable and has what you need. Highly recommended.

Amazing view and location. Also, the host was very responsive. We had an issue with one of the ac’s which was immediately resolved. The host even had a backup plan just in case the ac could not be fixed immediately! We are definitely returning!

Wow, such an amazing place!! The view from the pool was absolutely breathtaking!!! We saw Toucans and even spotted a Crested Guan while taking a dip at dusk!!! And the sunsets cannot be beat!! All in all it is a beautiful place with great access to everything. My only suggestion would be to consider how much time you will spend in the kitchen or front living area. There is no AC in that area and if you like to cook or spend time gathered in that area it gets very warm. Other than that, it was the perfect place. I strongly suggest anyone to check out The Bakery which is 10 minutes away for coffee and amazing bread and pastries!! Thank you again for the trip of a lifetime!!!

Loretta's place is beautiful. Shirley was the one I mainly communicated with and who checked us in. We stayed here during the Envision festival with 3 couples and a friend and had a great time. The house is spacious enough for all 7 of us not to feel crampy and to be able to move around the spacious kitchen and living room freely. There is also an amazing outdoor chill area and pool. We enjoyed our privacy and were grateful to have a peaceful spot outside of the festival craziness. We will definitely consider Loretta's place again for our next Uvita adventure! Also when we had issues with one of the showers (the water wasn't getting hot), Shirely immediately organized someone to fix it (which was very much appreciated). That's what I call a superhost!!

We decided to rent Loretta's house for the ocean view and pool and location. All did not disappoint. Sunsets while soaking in the pool were absolutely breathtaking. There is a view of the Whales Tail beach. Directions to the house were easy to follow. A 4x4 is not required since the steep parts are paved. Shirley,the local host, made check-in very easy. All rooms are spacious, and the attached bathrooms in the master and second bedrooms were bigger and nicer than expected. Kitchen was well appointed with a welcome bag of coffee, crackers, local salsa. Coffee filters provided. We asked for 2 additional pool lounge chairs which were delivered the day after check in. Location is perfect for Uvita, Quepos and Dominical daytrips. By far, our favorite tour was Cafe Don Emilio's coffee plantation tour. Beautiful drive up a steep country road. Our group of 2 couples highly recommends Lorettas house and would stay again.

The view was great, better than the pictures. The house is close to Uvita, which was nice. The house could use some upgrades, especially the kitchen, kitchen equipment and the furniture. The house feels more like a rental than a home. With some love and attention this could be a place that could be described als ‘fabulous’ instead of ‘nice’. Shirley was a great host, very hospitable, responsive and attentive.

Loretta's house is awesome. The view is magnificent ( the pics don't do it any justice). The location is great closely to everything. It's our 4th time in CR and Loretta's airbnb is one of the bets we stayed at. The pool is great. The house is great too. Only nice things to say about Loretta's place. Pura vida Loretta and Shirley!

Top dollars we paid for the view and the pool. The view was nice. Pool was nice for first 2 nights but then water level dropped below normal. That’s what this house is about view and infinity pool. We stayed 3 Airbb places which all has a pool during this trip. Compared to others services were essentially non-existent at this place. Other hosts had a caretaker come look after pool and garden and house every day. This one didn’t. (We paid half of price for others and they did have a view too! ) Once we notified the host and her associate the water level in the pool was low, the answer was no can’t fix it until tomorrow. But tomorrow we were leaving.. you ask if that’s worth what I paid for, the answer is no.

Great stay if you are looking for a place in Uvita! Wonderful location with breathtaking views and in the heart of local wildlife. We had monkey's, tucans, and much more just in the trees within view from the patio. The restaurant just up the hill is also great for a bite to eat and there are some nice spots just minutes away in town. We hope to go back!
