Upon entering Palm Beach Estates, you immediately feel safe and relaxed, ready to explore the neighborhood and its amenities on foot. When you arrive at Villa Bodhi, the grand entryway welcomes you with large traditional Costa Rican paintings framed in native wood. The lighting and classic arched doorway draw your attention into the main living area and out to the beautifully landscaped private patio and pool. The backyard is alive with local wildlife, including hummingbirds, iguanas, and even howler monkeys.

The master bedroom is spacious and features a king bed along with a twin bed crafted by a local wood artist living nearby. You can fully embrace the pura vida lifestyle here, with a tall, elegant armoire for your belongings. The en-suite bathroom offers privacy and includes a stand-up shower.

The second bedroom, located across the hall, contains a queen bed and a double bed. It has a walk-in closet with a safe for your valuables and ample space for personal items. Both bedrooms are equipped with high-quality air conditioning units to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. All beds throughout the villa and casita come with premium mattresses, bedding, and linens.

Off the main living room, a recently converted sleeping area features a twin bed, ideal for an extra guest or child. Note that this space is open to the living room and not a fully enclosed bedroom. It has a large picture window overlooking the patio and pool and benefits from air conditioning in the main area to stay cool.

The villa’s furnishings and decor highlight the diverse woods native to Costa Rica, including a Guanacaste Buddha that adds a natural and sacred touch.

The kitchen and dining area are spacious and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals as if you were at home. The brand-new refrigerator includes an ice maker, and next to it is a water filter offering room temperature, cold, or instant hot water for quick tea. Additional appliances include a dishwasher and a gas stove with an oven. A large kitchen island with stools provides space for meal prep or casual dining with friends.

The family room features two large, comfortable couches and a loveseat sofa. A new 65-inch Smart TV allows you to catch your favorite sports or Netflix shows. A brand-new air conditioning unit keeps the space cool while you relax or cook. The open layout between the kitchen and living room encourages togetherness whether you’re preparing food or unwinding.

The laundry room contains a full-size, brand-new washer and dryer.

Outside is a favorite spot to spend the day when not at the beach. The covered back patio includes a cozy couch and chair with two fans for comfort. There is a large picnic table for outdoor dining, a gas grill for barbecues, and the inviting pool. Four lounge chairs are available poolside, providing a perfect retreat from the heat.

The guest casita is a charming separate unit with one bedroom featuring a queen bed, a full kitchen, a full bathroom, and a dining table for three. It also includes a brand-new, comfortable sofa bed and a TV. Both the villa and casita overlook the pool area.

The entire property is equipped with excellent high-speed internet.

Location

Palm Beach is a unique and highly sought-after beach community. It offers short walks to the beach, a small grocery store, a boutique coffee shop, and several appealing restaurants. The convenience of these amenities means you may not need a rental car, as everything is within walking distance, including Tamarindo.

Having a rental car is beneficial for exploring the surrounding areas and accessing additional dining options in nearby Playa Grande. A popular local event is the Wednesday night art and music fair, which draws many residents.

Playa Grande is renowned as one of the best and most consistent surf beaches worldwide, with breaks suitable for all skill levels along the coast. It is also part of Las Baulas National Park, known for being a nesting ground for leatherback turtles.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire property except for a master lockout closet reserved for the owners.
