Experience a tropical retreat with the timeless charm of a Mediterranean village at Casa de Colores, located at Calle la Ronda 15. This three-story luxury vacation home offers the highest vantage point in Beach Town and is just a one-minute walk from the beach. It provides easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and extensive hiking and biking trails.
The main entry level features an open-concept layout combining a vibrant kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all necessary utensils for preparing meals. Large windows and terrace doors allow plenty of natural light to fill the space. The dining area includes a cooking island with a breakfast bar seating four and a dining table for eight.
The living room is furnished with a sofa and two large armchairs, creating a cozy spot for conversation, coffee, or relaxation. The outdoor terrace adjacent to the kitchen is a favorite gathering place, equipped with a plunge pool and fountains, shaded seating, and sunny lounge chairs.
On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms sharing a bathroom with a shower. One bedroom is a bunk room with a trundle bed, ideal for children and accommodating up to three guests. The other is a charming queen bedroom featuring a Juliet balcony overlooking the stone-paved street below. This level also includes a shaded ocean-view balcony accessible from the foyer, furnished with a porch swing perfect for reading or resting.
The master suite occupies the third floor and includes a king-sized bed, matching furniture, and a walk-in closet. The master bathroom offers a double vanity, a deep bathtub, and a separate shower. There is an additional shaded ocean-view balcony with comfortable chairs, providing spectacular views of the distinctive Las Catalinas landscape and renowned architecture.
The rooftop terrace features seating for over ten guests and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and Catalina Islands, ideal for sunset gatherings.
The house is fully air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans, Smart TVs with streaming capabilities, high-speed internet, and a laundry closet for your convenience. Guests receive complimentary essentials such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, shampoo, and soap. Additional amenities include beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler, and more.
Travel cribs are available upon request through the concierge team, subject to availability and an additional fee.
Location
Las Catalinas is a Mediterranean-inspired community characterized by winding walkways, elegant stucco homes, lush landscaping, and a stunning Beach Club featuring four pools. Guests have access to soft sandy beaches and warm ocean waters.
The pedestrian-only town offers a variety of restaurants, a brewpub, shops, and social venues. The local Pura Vida Ride provides rentals for bikes, kayaks, snorkel gear, stand-up paddleboards, boogie boards, and fishing equipment.
Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy two facilities: an indoor cardio and weight room, and an outdoor strength training area made of wood, along with an outdoor yoga studio. The Center of Joy, an indoor yoga studio and retreat, is just a one-minute walk away.
Friendly residents, fellow vacationers, and attentive staff contribute to a welcoming atmosphere throughout the town.
Parking
Two parking spaces are available free of charge. Parking access is managed with a reusable card provided upon arrival. A $50 USD fee applies if the card is lost or not returned. Parking on the main road is not permitted.

Access to the Beach Club is subject to availability and includes the following options:

- Child Pass (ages 8 to 12): $15 USD plus 13% VAT, with $10 redeemable on consumables
- Children under 8 enter free with limited access
- Swim & Gym Pass: $20 USD plus 13% VAT, valid from 7 am to 10 am only

Amazing place. There is no other way to stay and play with a family. There are so many outdoor spots to enjoy the early sunrise and sunset. Walk around, rent a bike and hit the trails and head back for a dip in your private pool. This was our top destination and way to vacation with a complete house and pool for the same price as a single hotel room! Our host was amazing (Valeria). She came to meet us at the house and booked our excursions right at the dining room table. We also rented a car right on the property and it was VERY affordable and so worth it for an excursion to Tamarindo and surfing. Highly recommend the waterfall hike. Blue Zone can book travel, excursion and and authentic Costa Rican lunch on the return. The architecture of Las Catalinas is relaxing and so fun to stroll and take in. We also saw a group of monkeys in the trees right on the property. Pura Vida!!!

We loved our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view from the decks was so beautiful. The Blue Zone Hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great place to stay in Las Catalinas. It’s in a great location and a comfortable home. We could easily walk to all restaurants, beach and beach club. We hope to come back!!

La casa es incluso más linda que lo que se ve en fotos. Nos sentimos tan a gusto, que nos costó salir de la casa. 5 minutos caminando hasta la playa, amenidades en buen estado y está recién renovada. No hay parrilla, pero a parte de eso, todo lo demás es perfecto.

Our stay at Casa Calle la Ronda in Las Catalinas was magical. The location was perfect, we were within walking distance of beach, grocery, and fabulous restaurants. Our hosts were very communicative prior to arrival and responsive to our inquiries during check-in and throughout our stay. With three levels plus a balcony, I would not recommend this property to mobility challenged travelers. But for our active family, it was perfect. The casa was well furnished, beds comfortable, and the dip pool refreshing. The ocean views from the upper balcony was breathtaking. With the humidity, the washer and dryer was a huge bonus as we changed our clothes more frequently that expected. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this property again.
