We were lucky to book Casa Playa last minute, and it proved a very pleasant retreat. Its close proximity to the beach is a major benefit, as are its amenities and quiet privacy. The check in/out were very well handled.

The property was clean, as pictured, and in a great location within walking distance to the beach. However, there were serious safety and habitability issues. During our stay, the property was broken into despite all doors and windows being locked and the alarm being armed. The alarm was triggered, but neither the security company nor the host contacted us. We returned to find forced entry through a bathroom window. Security later confirmed they attended, assumed the alarm was accidental, remotely disarmed it, and left without inspecting the home. We later learned this was not the first break-in involving guests, which was not disclosed at booking. One bedroom smelled strongly of sewage and was unusable.

We loved our stay at this beautiful beachside villa in Playa Pelada! Just steps from the sand, the house has a stunning indoor/outdoor layout that makes it perfect for gathering and relaxing together. Everything was spotless — comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and plenty of extra linens and essentials. The kitchen is a bit minimalist, but the rest of the home more than makes up for it. A peaceful, breezy spot we’d happily return to! 🌴✨

Perfect house for our 2 families with 4 older teens. Walkable to both Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones. The pool was loved by all. The hammocks were a hit with the kids. The covered patio protected us from both sun and rain allowing us to be outside all the time. The hit of the house was the garage style door that opened up the kitchen to the patio! A lifesaver was the washer and dryer allowing us the have clean and dry towels throughout our stay. We heard about petty theft and break-ins. We were cautious, using the safe, locking all doors and setting the alarm when we left the house. We didn’t have any issues. We would recommend this property.

Loved our stay here! Amazing location in Playa Pelada, quick walk to the beach and close to some great restaurants. I prefer playa pelada to playa guiones now that everything has exploded so much. Playa pelada is like what Nosara used to be! One thing to be mindful of is that the kitchen is more like a kitchenette. It does not have an oven, just a toaster oven, and there is very little counter space. This is totally fine if you plan on eating out mostly. All in all, would certainly recommend and would book again.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr grosszügig und schön. Sieht alles aus wie auf den Fotos, die beiden separaten Zimmer waren sehr praktisch für Teenager. Wichtig, die Villa ist nicht am Playa Guiones sondern Playa Pelada. Check In hat hervorragend funktioniert! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig
