La Perla | Your Private Chic beach Gem

Great location, road dust is not an issue, road noise is not an issue. Great place for a group or family. Host makes everything as easy as possible and is very accommodating.

We had the most fantastic stay at La Perla for our honeymoon. Adi and Raphaelle thought of absolutely everything to make our week there perfect. From organizing our ATV rental with Luis (who was also amazing), massages with Megan (also amazing), and private meals with chef Glenda (can’t tell you how amazing she was). It was more than we could have dreamed. Santa Teresa is filled with the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure and La Perla is located in the heart of it all. Monkeys and iguanas visited but kept their distance. It was perfection!

Our vacation at La Perla was exceptional. Upon arriving the host met us to show us the property- a family of howler monkeys were also in the trees above the yard ready to greet us as well:) They even had cold coconuts (with metal straws) and pineapple waiting in the fridge. The house is high-end with incredible finishings and a terrific layout. We easily had room for six with two people in each of the bedrooms. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the mini split AC units worked well. The primary bathroom was very cool and the bathtub and shower were integrated with a private patio- made for very relaxing baths while there were rainstorms outside. The common patio area provided a great place to eat, enjoy the pool, and the environment. The short walk to the beach was super convenient as was the location of the house to restaurants and grocery stores. I can't recommend the house enough!

This place is perfect. A very short walk to the beach, lots of wildlife surrounding the home, clean and comfortable. Great kitchen, and a quiet home big enough for everyone to have their own space to unwind and relax. We had howler monkeys visiting regularly, lots of unique birds coming and going all day, you are in the thick of the jungle while close to the ocean and the town. It’s quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable which is very important to us hoping to have a restful vacation, which is Exactly what this was. The host is very responsive and helpful in booking excursions and activities making our adventures fun and easy. Thanks for making our vacation a memorable one!

La Perla is a lovely home and garden. We enjoyed our time, hanging around the house and pool...and we saw a lot of wild life right in the yard (howler monkeys, iguanas/lizards, crabs, parakeets, other lovely birds). It is a short walk to the beach to watch great sunsets or walk in the interesting tide pools. You are in close walking distance to Playa Hermosa (15-20min), which is the nicest beach for swimming in our opinion. Most importantly, you are not in the busy Santa Teresa stretch - you are north of it. The house is close to the road so you will hear traffic but not a huge deal and did not affect sleeps. Raphaelle was great at responding to any questions and providing suggestions. She arranged our transport to/from the airport and our ATV so that it was there when we arrived. The daily cleaning is also nice.

La Perla is nothing short of a haven. We have stayed here twice and both times have been spectacular. We adore the peaceful, restful feel of the house. Everything was superb. My family and I will certainly book here again.
