Casa Zu

We were in Casa Zu three years ago. And when we decided to go to La Fortuna for 4 Nights, we knew we have to stay again with Kendal in La Tigra. Spacious space, cozy, clean and as bonus you can pet the horses. Thank you Kendal again. 🙂

Amazing local experience. Love the colonial style and Kendal was great all the way. The Rancho is such a nice place. People are so nice there and getting back to the Kendall's place after a few drinks is unique. Note that this place may not work for everyone, the living room communicate directly with the yard. We personally loved getting up to the sound of the birds and the tropical paradise , it's truly amazing.

Muy conveniente el restaurante a la par con opcion de piscina. El airbnb muy espacioso y comodo, muy lindo. Recomendado

Queríamos recibir el 2023 en un lugar tranquilo con nuestros amigos y mascotas. Encontramos casa Zu y fue el lugar perfecto lleno de espacio y mucha naturaleza. El 31 Kendal tuvo el detalle de prepararnos una fogata, mesa con manteles, candelas, sábanas, luces haciendo de nuestra estadía una velada acogedora y única. Kendal en todo momento estuvo atento de nuestras preguntas y necesidades, una persona demasiado accesible con el propósito de hacer que nuestra experiencia fuera la mejor para nosotros y sin dejar a lado a nuestros perritos que también sintieron ese trato excelente del host.

Kendal's place was a lucky find and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, despite it being a bit out of the way for the national park. The garden is a treasure trove for bird lovers and we even found some strawberry poison-dart frog. We didn't realise that the living area is completely open with no windows, which is just of note for anyone that is vehemently against insects and other creatures being attracted by the lamps. We very much enjoyed it, especially when it was raining. Heavy rain is quite loud on the metal roof and made sleep the first night a bit disruptive and being indoors generally noisy. The entrance gate gets locked every night so we didn't have to worry about our car, and Kendal was very responsive whenever we wanted to have it opened in the mornings. Kendal was great to communicate with, he made sure the music from the nearby restaurant didn't bother us on the Saturday and was always on hand.

This home was exactly what we were looking for. You could feel the warm and inviting energy as soon as you walk in. It was perfectly clean, big, and comfortable. The host Kendall was extremely accommodating and kind. We really enjoyed our stay here! Hope to return soon
