Excellent place, the house is super nice. Pedro, the caretaker, is super attentive and polite. I would say that more photos should be added, because the reality surpasses the published photos. The house is too beautiful.

A beautiful place! Very peaceful, with nature, and the view is simply beautiful. The photos in the app didn't do it justice. There are lots of things to do, including the pool, Jacuzzi, access to the lake, and sauna. A simply magical place. It's a paradise. Pedro, who is the house staff, is super attentive, friendly, and helpful. It made a lot of things easier for us. The host answered every question before our stay. Thank you.

Un lugar precioso! Mucha tranquilidad, naturaleza, la vista que tiene es simplemente hermoso. Las fotos en la aplicacion se quedaron cortas. Tiene muchas cosas por hacer, desde piscina, Jacuzzi, acceso al Lago, Sauna. Un lugar simplemente magico, es un paraiso. Pedro que es el personal de la casa, es super atento, amable, servicial. Hizo que se nos facilitara muchas cosas. Anfitrion respondio cada pregunta antes de nuestra estadia. Gracias.

Pedro the person in charge of the property took good care of us without crowding us! He is super nice and useful! We felt well taken care of. The place is spectacular especially the views, but atitlan lake is a magical place from all points of view!

This place is amazing! It was exactly what we were looking for — private, remote, and wonderfully peaceful. The property is huge with so many activities to enjoy. We loved exploring everything it had to offer. The only small challenge was the hike down to the pool and lakefront. It’s a bit steep, so it might be difficult for families with children 5 years old or younger, or for older guests with mobility or health concerns like high blood pressure. That said, it was still absolutely worth it once you’re down there. A huge shoutout to Pedro, the property caretaker — he was fantastic and always quick to help with anything we needed. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place!

Wow - what an incredible place! The photos don’t do it justice. Waking up to the views was such a treat. The property (including the outdoor space) is beautifully designed and feels like a true getaway. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were a family of six and had plenty of space. Communication with Carlos was seamless, and Pedro (who lives on-site) was always helpful while remaining very respectful of our privacy. The location is remote, so plan ahead. Public transport doesn’t reach the property. We chose to rent a car from Antigua, which made groceries and visiting Santiago Atitlán easier. You can manage without one, but will need to rely on private boats (Pedro can help arrange them). The drive from Antigua to Lake Atitlan is windy and steep at times, but manageable. Waze worked better than Google Maps for us. Overall, an amazing stay. If it’s available, book it - you won’t regret it!

The photos do not do this Airbnb justice, it's better than we expected! What an unbelievable Airbnb for the price. The property is huge and has so many great places to hang out. Pedro (the property caretaker) was amazingly helpful and always responsive. He always helped us with anything we needed. I would book this property again in a heartbeat. Take the watertoys out on the lake during golden hour/sunset, you won't regret it!

Our stay at Carlos’s house was absolutely outstanding — truly one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was thoughtfully designed and perfectly finished, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The views overlooking Lake Atitlán were simply breathtaking. The property itself is impeccably maintained, with incredible attention given to the plants and flowers — the gardens are lush, vibrant, and absolutely gorgeous. Everything about this property felt special, peaceful, and luxurious. You can really see the care and pride put into maintaining it. Communication with Carlos was excellent — he was very responsive, helpful, and easy to reach throughout our stay. Highly recommended — we would return in a heartbeat!

This place is just magical, it's beautiful and my whole family and I enjoyed it A lot. Pedro is super kind and always willing to help, we had a great time. Important to consider There is nothing very close to go shopping for things to cook, and in the nearby villages it is difficult to get protein or things from the supermarket, so I recommend buying everything you need in the city before waiting to arrive at the place or be close to the place. I highly recommend it for a few days of rest and family time.

Este lugar es simplemente mágico, es bellísimo y toda mi familia y yo lo disfrutamos Mucho. Pedro es súper gentil y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, la pasamos muy lindo. Importante considerar Que no hay nada muy cerca como para ir a comprar cosas para cocinar y en los pueblitos cercanos cuesta conseguir proteína o cosas del súper así que recomiendo compren todo lo necesario en la ciudad antes de esperar llegar al lugar o estar cerca del lugar. Lo recomiendo mucho para unos días de descanso y tiempo en familia.

Wow, everything about Carlos’s house was amazing. First, Carlos was super responsive and helpful- from whether to rent a car or take a shuttle to local recommendations and private boats, he was amazing. Pedro, who takes care of the property, was equally amazing and friendly. Second, the house itself is incredible. It is built from local stone and everything about it is gorgeous. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, the kayaks and paddle boards and life vests were put out each morning, and there was plenty of wood for the fire pit. The pool and hot tub were impeccably clean (and big!) too. Our family of five enjoyed all that this property had to offer. We ended up renting a car, which was nice because we couldn’t walk to any of the public boat docks. But the trade off was the privacy and the seclusion of the house and property. And it was a quick drive to both Santiago and San Lucas.  We had such a memorable trip and would return in a heartbeat. 100% recommend!!!

This is one of the best places I have visited, it is very comfortable, has lots of things to do, has private access to the lake and water toys which is a really nice plus. It was very clean. As family we enjoyed the place

We were a group of 15 people and enjoyed Carlos' house from start to finish. What a house! First, the lakefront location is spectacular. It is true that there are many steps to get to the "beach" of the lake, but we were all young and it was not a problem at all. It was also a great addition to have kayaks and stand-up paddles. There was one deflated, but we used the others without any problems. The house has many areas to take advantage of. Another one of our favorites was the jacuzzi, which is upstairs. The barbecue and campfire were also amazing. Seriously, neither the photos nor my words do it justice. We will be back 100%. Oh, and a special mention to the caretaker Pedro: what a kind person. I was always on the lookout and willing to help.

Éramos un grupo de 15 personas y disfrutamos la casa de Carlos de principio a fin. ¡Qué casa! Primero, la ubicación frente al lago es espectacular. Es cierto que hay muchos escalones para llegar a la “playa” del lago, pero todos éramos jóvenes y no fue un problema en lo absoluto. También fue una gran adición tener kayaks y stand-up paddles. Había uno desinflado, pero usamos los otros sin inconvenientes. La casa tiene muchísimas zonas para aprovechar. Otra de nuestras favoritas fue el jacuzzi, que está en la parte de arriba. La barbacoa y la fogata también fueron increíbles. En serio, ni las fotos ni mis palabras le hacen justicia. Volveremos 100%. Ah, y mención especial al cuidador Pedro: qué persona tan amable. Siempre estaba pendiente y dispuesto a ayudar.

We absolutely loved the place. Perfect place to get around the lake. Pedro the assistant was amazing and very attentive to our needs. The pictures don’t even come close to doing justice to how beautiful and large this property is. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

A very large and comfortable house. The view from the main house and the jacuzzi are amazing. The beach is very comfortable for children. Pedro, the guy who greets you, is very friendly and helpful. Great location.

Our stay was incredible. I took my entire family Of 16+…. The views are breathtaking, with so many fun activities without even leaving the house. The hospitality was also a great bonus! Pedro, the house guardian is very attentive. Highly recommend booking Juliana for your breakfast needs, she was also great! 😊 Carlos, is great as far as communication goes, very patient and friendly. We all gave this place a 10/10 We’ll definitely be back soon! Ps…there are some massive stairs down to the pool/ lake. The walk down is easy but the walk up is some work! Be ready for some good cardio

The house is very nice, lots of space, for large groups it is simply spectacular. The only thing to take into account is that you cannot go with the elderly or very young children, since the social area is down many steps. That was the only issue, although it was not a problem for us. It may affect other people. Pedro the guard was always attentive, cleaning and tidying the house every morning without fail. The lake games are in perfect condition and are great. In short, we had a great time!!! Nice house, beautiful lake beach!!!!

la casa muy linda, mucho espacio, para grupos grandes es simplemente espectacular. el único dato a tomar en cuenta es que no se puede ir con ancianos o niños muy pequeños, ya que el área social está bajando muchas gradas. Sería el único detalle aunque para nosotros no fue ningún problema. pueda ser que otras personas les afecte. el Pedro el guardia estuvo siempre al pendiente limpiando y arreglando la casa todas las mañanas sin falta. Los juegos del lago están en perfectas condiciones y son geniales. en resumidas cuentas nos la pasamos re bien!!! linda casa, hermosa playa del lago!!!!

This is our second time staying here, and everything was perfect. We love how private and peaceful it is. There are stairs you have to go down to get to the lake, but it’s worth it because once you’re at the bottom, you have a large garden with a private pool, pool table, and foosball table. There were 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, life jackets, and a paddle boat. It has a private beach and we loved swimming in the lake. The jacuzzi is nice when it gets a little colder out. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. Pedro the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. It’s very easy to find using Waze. We hope to go back soon!

The main house was nice enough, but dated. Way too much of a hike to actually get to the lake - which you cannot tell from the pics. Felt like a bit of bait and switch on pricing. Shows that it accommodates 16, but I had to pay an extra $700 for a total of 14 guests - May have been partially my fault for not being clear on how many people would be there from the beginning. I did not feel it was worth the final price.

Albert, que raro, antes de reservar, me preguntaste de las gradas y te dije 82 para bajar,  Tambien te pregunte cuantas personas iban para que a la hora de hacer tu reserva podas ver el total.  y no me dijiste hasta el ultimo momento y tubiste que hacerlo en Airbnb no conmigo.

Carlos was very responsive and super helpful when we needed it. The house is amazing and the pictures do not do its justice.  Pedro was very attentive and helped us through the stay. We would love to come back!
