Overview
This beachfront apart-hotel is located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera in the Mexican Caribbean. Las Villas Akumal provides various additional services upon request for an extra fee, including breakfast, a snack bar, BBQ rental, cooks, a basic hygiene and beach articles shop, transportation, massages, and business services.
An environmental tax will be charged at check-in:
- Junior units: 60 MXN per night
- Villas with 2 and 3 bedrooms: 90 MXN per night

It was perfect for our family. Great place, friendly staff. Stunning views. Only wish there were more common items available in the kitchen and that we could have had access to a washer / dryer in the suite.

We had a wonderful time. Place was as advertised. Clean and the air conditioner work great. Views were excellent . Ocean is a little rocky. Wish they had a few more spices and oils to make cooking easier. Most cupboards were lock.

Great location with unobstructed beach front views and lovely patio. The front desk was friendly and responsive. The five gallon bottled water was appreciated and replenished when requested. Thank you! A few items that need attention within the unit: dish washer was broken (a big disappointment as we did some cooking); the kitchen sink lacks an aerator on the faucet (a simple thing to remedy and would avoid much unnecessary splashing/getting clothes wet); while there is a washer/dryer in the unit it is behind a locked door so unavailable (please consider making this available to guests who are paying $550/night!); light switches, of which there are many, are unmarked and led to much unnecessary flipping on/off to find the correct one (also a simple remedy); and the freezer started leaking while we were there (fortunately we weren't using it so no food was spoiled). Otherwise we love our stay in Akumal!

Nuestra estadía estuvo muy agradable frente al mar .. La Villa súper limpia … solo no me gusto el almuerzo pero todo lo demás muy bien!

O local é muito agradável e tranquilo, com uma praia bonita. Embora tenha bastante pedra, isso não impede o banho, pois há um canto com areia que é ótimo para aproveitar. A casa está exatamente como nas fotos, o que foi um ponto positivo. O anfitrião foi muito atencioso, o que tornou a estadia ainda mais confortável. No entanto, sentimos falta de uma cozinha mais equipada, com itens como facas para cortes, taças de vinho e uma sanduicheira, que fariam diferença na experiência. Mas de forma geral foi muito positivo , certamente voltaríamos em uma oportunidade futura!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming apartment in Akumal, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail in the apartment. It was evident that the space is meticulously maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The real highlight, however, is the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sight of the turquoise waters each morning was nothing short of magical. The large windows and private balcony offered uninterrupted views of the stunning coastline, making it the perfect spot for relaxing with a cup of coffee or enjoying a sunset.

Beautiful place m, well managed, right on the beach. If you are lucky you can see volunteers ushering turtle and new hatchlings into the water.

Villas Akumal es mas que excelente! El lugar es tan acogedor y con una vista increíble. Lizbeth y Claudia nos apoyaron en todo, muy atentas y pendientes de las necesidades. Sin duda volveremos!
