What an amazing location to switch off and just relax. The morning and evenings at the beach were so peaceful with calm waters and perfect sun. During the day when it got too hot we enjoyed the pool which is ideally shaded when the sun moves over the house. Jesus is fantastic as the local POC. Ho hooked us up many times and we even caught a Marlin. Highly recommend.

Yes the place is old, but it is cheaper than similar houses in the area and the atmosphere and mexican vibes make it really enjoyable. Everything works, great beds, plenty of towels, appliences are new and perfect privacy in the pool, peace and quiet. Safe and we had the whole beach to ourselves. Would surely come back!

Lynne's home is stunning, everything we wanted and more. It is located between two towns on an isolated road so TOTAL privacy and yet part of a small development of homes, all with large lots. The beach is so expansive, quiet and stunning. The house is set about 75-100 ft back from the waters edge. Sunrises were beyond beautiful, simply magical. The views from the home are amazing. The ocean is visible from almost every room. The kitchen is well equipped and modern as are the bathrooms. The beds are super comfortable. There is AC in the bedrooms that have a "sleep" setting so can be on but quiet at night. We spent most all our time at the house, with excursions out to restaurants or snorkel at Cabo Plumo (highly recommend this national treasure). We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, large hammock, ping pong table, swimming in the sea and of course, the lounge chairs out by the water. Lynne is a kind and considerate host. She responded promptly always. We hope to stay here again.

Fantastic stay for a quiet week with friends! We appreciated quiet morning walks on the beach, nearby hiking to Cerros Las Coronas, relaxing by the pool, and unusual marine life washed up on shore. Stay was close enough to La Ribera for easy access to taco stands, mercados, and restaurants, but far enough outside that we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. We didn't get any resort-y vibes whatsoever, so exactly what we were looking for, but police vehicles regularly passed by so everything felt safe. We had planned to do more activities away from the house, but found there was enough to do, and it was so relaxing and beautiful, that we only left a few times. We got two dinners provided by the property manager (Jésus) that were great! A common refrain in the second half of our trip was that we wished we had stayed here the whole time. (Note: The number of beds is incorrect. There are 3 king sized beds and 2 couch beds)

A majestic house right on the water in the Los Pinos area. We had hoped to go wing foiling and kiting right off the beach but the shore break was too strong. It's a short drive to Los Barriles so we went there and enjoyed the many great restaurants as well.

The setting of the house is gorgeous. The house was ideal for us in that we were looking for a beachfront location in a beautiful and fairly undeveloped area. The layout of the house worked great for our group in that the bedrooms are well separated. The house is also very spacious. There were some issues with the pool and hot tub temperature but the owner provided us with an adequate refund for the difficulties. As other reviews described, some things about the house are dated but the positives of the house far outweigh the negatives. it was a splendid location and terrific home from which to enjoy the East Cape.
