We would give this place more than ten stars if we could! Our large group of nine has been coming to Costa Rica for seven years, and out of all the houses we have stayed at, this one was essentially flawless. From the epic panoramic views of the ocean, whales, dolphin pods and sunset views, to the friendly and efficient staff, we had everything we needed (and more) for a successful and incredible ten day trip. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms get cold when you want them to, the showers are so awesome. Even the shower products made us smell and feel so good. Little details like this made our stay pretty much perfect for all ages. The kitchen is incredible and has everything you could possibly need. The outdoor poolside kitchen area has a complete set of plastic dishware so you never have to worry about breaking anything by the pool. Three dishwashers was a game changer especially for a large group like ours.

This property is incredible. The house is beautiful, the ocean is calming, the forest is wonderful, and the beach is amazing amid a very laid back area. The house blends into nature and offers every convenience you’d want. Chef Erik was great. Our host was very accommodating and we hope to be able to come back sometime in the near future. It’s very much worth a return trip!

This was the most amazing Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The house and scenery were beyond gorgeous, and the rooms were perfection for our group of 6 couples. the icing on the cake was truly the experience the staff provided. From the caretakers Sonya and Alexandria, to the private Chef Erik and finally the concierge Pierre….you truly are spoiled with a 5 star resort experience. The host is most responsive and made all of our adventures on a daily basis seamless. I especially appreciated the accommodation of groceries to stock the house as the town is about 15-20 minutes away so having all your favorite drinks was important for my group. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place, my best advice is BOOK it! You will have no regrets. Thank you Anggie and France for managing such an incredible house. I am already planning my next trip with family so they too can experience.

The villa is tucked back at the end of a long dirt road. It’s very private and has amazing views of the ocean. The house is basically built into the trees. Pool is wonderful, outside living area is where we spent all of our time. As a group of ten we had plenty of space. There is a lovely beach about 5 minutes drive. The house has everything you need, towels, stocked kitchen, espresso machine, etc. rooms have AC but no where else. The chef is amazing for dinners and the breakfast they serve each morning is tasty. We had a wonderful time here for a week! It is about a 2.5 hour drive from the airport, we booked transportation through them and it was very easy. If you plan to do anything outside the house you’ll need a rental car!

Had the most incredible time staying at La Perla Negra. The house is stunning with sweeping views and plenty of space to spread out and explore. All of the staff were so helpful and lovely and really made our time special and ensured we could fully relax and enjoy ourselves. Breakfasts were incredible and our meals with Chef Erik were delicious and really made traveling with a large group easy! Highly highly recommending booking this place if you’re in Puerto Carrillo!

Rented the is beautiful place to spend my 30th birthday with my significant other and definitely a beautiful place to be!. The whole staff were very nice and helpful. Definitely a place I am coming back again.
