The Space

This two-story condo is ideally situated for a relaxing Tamarindo vacation. Set away from the busy downtown area, it offers close proximity to the beach, restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Start your day with a coffee on one of the three balconies and soak in the "Pura Vida" lifestyle that Costa Rica is known for.

The unit is well-suited for couples, friends traveling together, or small families. It comes fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen includes:

• Full-size refrigerator
• Stove with oven
• Utensils, pots, and pans
• Drinkware and dinnerware

For those who enjoy grilling, a propane-fueled barbecue is available, perfect for preparing fresh seafood and dining outdoors.

The bright, air-conditioned main floor features:

Alternatively, you can turn off the air conditioning, switch on the ceiling fans, and open the screened windows on both sides to enjoy the warm tropical breeze.

After a day of adventure, relax poolside on a sun lounger by one of the two centrally located pools within the complex. If you prefer shade, enjoy a refreshing drink under one of the two palapas.

Guest Access and Security

Access to the property is secured via a keycode entrance provided upon booking. The gated community is located in a quiet neighborhood with on-site security. Upon arrival, our co-host Liane will welcome you, introduce you to the property, and share insights about the town. She remains available throughout your stay to assist with any questions.

Please note there is one locked closet on the main floor containing personal items that guests cannot access.

Important Notes

• The unit is located on the third and fourth floors; there are no elevators, so guests must use stairs.
• To promote energy conservation, stays of four weeks or longer include up to 700 kWh (approximately US$150) of electricity. Any excess usage will be charged to guests. This allowance supports responsible use of air conditioning and the dryer.
• Due to local septic systems, toilet paper must not be flushed; please dispose of it in the trash.
• Guanacaste Province experiences droughts from December to April, which may result in water service interruptions. The property has a backup water tank, but guests are encouraged to conserve water by:
  • Turning off faucets when not in use
  • Reusing towels
  • Avoiding unnecessary laundry loads
  • Reporting leaks or running toilets immediately
• Occasional power or internet outages may occur; your patience is appreciated.

Insects and Wildlife

As a tropical location, occasional ants may be present indoors. If you notice a significant number, please inform us so we can address it. Ants outdoors play an important ecological role and should be left undisturbed.

Cockroaches are also common in Costa Rica. Their presence indoors does not indicate poor cleanliness or infestation, as they are solitary and not social pests. Cockroach spray is available on the property, and guests are encouraged to avoid leaving food or garbage outside, as raccoons and skunks may disturb trash.

Additional Guidelines

• Please rinse off sunscreen before using linens to prevent discoloration. Avoid using bleach in the washing machine.
• No glass containers are allowed in or around the pool area.
• Smoking is prohibited in the pool area and other common spaces.
• Keep the exterior of the property free of garbage and bring personal belongings indoors at night.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• All garbage should be securely tied in bags before disposal in the garbage room.
