Casa Isla: Waterfront Zen & Architectural Elegance

We loved staying here with our family! It was a beautiful spot to relax, explore Isla Mujeres, and connect with family. The house is beautiful and spacious, allowing us to have group hangouts or solo time. The pool is magnificent and the we woke up in awe of the view daily!

We loved this house soooo much! The view! The furnishings! The location! The kitties! Do not hesitate……this is the house you want! Wonderful house keeping, comfortable beds, great book selection! Best part of the island.

We've just returned from a wonderful week at Casa Isla and everyone is still all smiles. The house is just as it appears in the listing photos. Each suite has an incredible view, huge bathroom, ice cold A/C (and fans) and super-comfortable beds. The rooms are spread out enough so there is plenty of privacy (we were a group of three couples) and the living room/great room/kitchen layout is perfect for time spent together. We all like to cook found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. We spent most of our time by the pool and found the view from there alone worth every penny. All communication between Kit, Stacy and Tere was prompt, professional and genuinely warm. We felt well-cared for. Arrange to pre-stock the kitchen, you won't want to leave the house right away. Golf carts are great but stay alert for cars/scooters passing on your left! The DC Explorer private snorkle tour is a must. Kit has put together an incredible team at a one-of-a-kind home in a stunning location.

10/10!!! Photos are 100% accurate. Amazing view from the living room, outdoor dining and infinity pool! Everything was clean and very comfortable. You can see the entrance of punta sur from the front of the house. Overall, very peaceful. Stacy, the property manager, met us at check in and walked us through the house to explain everything we needed to know. She also helped us setup groceries in advance so we could hit the ground running. Tere, the housekeeper, comes daily and is lovely. Kit, the owner, gave us fabulous recommendations including a private chef, Carla, who made us the most delicious meal. I highly suggest booking this for an evening dinner outside. The kitties are sweet (at least when hungry!) and easy to feed. Roberto will use his charm for extra food. Loved everything about it. Will definitely rebook in the future.

My wife and I and our 3 kids stayed at Casa Isla in April 2024. We had never been to Isla Mujeres. The views at the house are just like the photos - stunning. We felt like celebrities. The house is at the far south of the island and just a 20-25 minute golf cart ride to all the action if you want that. Lots of restaurants and the largest grocery store on the island within a short golf cart trip. It was a great base to explore from and then retreat to peace and quiet. Loved the privacy and hot tub at night. It was perfect for a family. Since we have been back home, my 3 year-old keeps saying he wants to go back to his Mexico house. We plan to come back. Stacy the property manager was very responsive and they even had the hot tub repaired while we were there when it stopped working. Lots of taxis nearby if you need one but renting a golf cart is highly recommended.

Amazing house. Very professional from the first communication through check out. Very responsive and helped out every step of the way. Made organizing day to day activities very easy in a foreign country. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on Isla mujeres. It is on the far south end of the island so a golf cart is necessary but it’s a lot of fun especially with kids. DC explorer which was recommended by Kit dropped it off so it was waiting at the house and we just left it at departure and they picked it up. We stayed for 5 nights and did a sunset cruise, dolphin encounter, zip lining and went to many of the islands amazing restaurants. We felt very safe the entire time. Couldn’t recommend this house any higher. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful home, great location, excellent host team!! Endless views with a great pool to end a day at the beach with a dip. Rented golf cart was great to get around the island from the neighborhood!

My family loved the house. It is beautiful and serene and the view and breezes on the porch over the pool are amazing. The beds were comfy and as another reviewer mentioned, the sheets so soft. The kitchen was great for cooking and it was also easy to get around by golf cart to some great taco places. All in all a fabulous home for those who appreciate art and the sea (and kitties)! The housekeeper was such a lovely person as well.

Kits place made us feel like the best home to come to ! The view from the living room and all rooms is spectacular. It was clean and lovely , spacious , I can’t say enough nice things about this place , Isla has our heart , Stacy , and Tere were superb and so helpful and attentive any time we needed anything . The house is amazing .

This is an amazing house in a stellar location. The best thing is the view, from basically every window. Punta Sur is an amazing location, with ocean views on 3 sides. The infinity pool is gorgeous. The house is huge. There is a cleaning person, Tere, who comes daily and who is wonderful, you really get hotel service. The check in and out were flexible, which we really appreciated. There were very clear instructions about how to get there, how to rent a golf cart, etc. Overall, amazing! Heads up that there are 4 outdoor cats that you need to feed 3x/day, which we had no problem with -- but their food attracts a ton of birds, and you get a loooot of bird poop on the floor outside which makes it a bit challenging to get from the house to the pool. Also the pool became rather green after 4 days, so I'd suggest a more regular pool service.
