Living Sustainably and regenetively room # 2

This place was an amazing retreat into the mountains after a long week in the humidity at envision. A beautiful place to decompress and relax amongst the clouds. Chema and Marga are amazing hosts, so kind and open with fascinating stories and insights into eco- living. The food is incredible— fresh local ingredients and made with love. I highly recommend! Definitely visit the nearby swimming holes / waterfalls as well. One of my favorite places to date!

Chema Y Marga are excellent host, make our stay very enjoyable. Marga coking was great and views from the place amazing. The project for sustainable living is very interesting and Chema and Marga talking make our stay very amiable and friendly. Overall excellent hosts and would recommend this place for a close to nature and retirement vacation.

There are not enough words in the English dictionary to describe the experience we had with Marga and Chema. Two must suffice for now: Mind Blowing. My boyfriend and I were incredibly lucky to have randomly found this perfect oasis tucked up in the mountains. You are incredibly lucky for finding their listing, book with them! Chema's dream has come to life and his intense passion in creating a sustainable life is oozing out of every knock and cranny of the house he built. Take a notebook! I came back to the US freshly inspired to apply some of the wisdom I gained in our talks over wine or walking through his gardens within my own. The other reviews have discussed the views and property very well, but you cannot put into words the magical feeling of the sunset melting everything around you into pink velvet, nor the innocent curiosity that arises as you watch the afternoon clouds dance all around you, (yes, go to the waterfall and feel the immense lush rainforest screaming with liveliness), you just have to go. You should, right now. We are certainly already looking to make this a yearly trip of refuge, restoration, and inspiration. My only regret is that we only had two nights, and I didn't get a chance to connect with Marga as my fascination with Chema's discussions had my attention spellbound. Her skills in the kitchen are INCREDIBLE!!! Oh my, I think she single handedly gave us the medicine we desperately needed coming off of our Heat exhausted Envision festival hangover. Thank you SO VERY MUCH to you, Chema and Marga. Thank you for everything you have created and shared. We truly cannot wait to go back.

Thanks to Chema and Marga for this unique and spezial place. We all enjoyed the hospitality and this very beautiful place. Especially the food was more then perfect! On top we have learned a lot of Ticos history! Thank you !! A perfect start for our Costa Rica journey!
