Villa Tres Lunas is located in a quiet, open-air residential neighborhood surrounded by nature and wildlife. Because sound carries through the jungle and nearby homes also feature outdoor living spaces, the property is not suitable for loud music or gatherings.
Enjoy high-speed fiber-optic internet at the villa, or travel 2 kilometers to Puerto Viejo to explore its eclectic beachside shops and distinctive Caribbean atmosphere.
The Space
The villa includes three bedroom suites, each with a private bathroom and air conditioning:
- The Luna Suite features a queen-size bed and a garden-view bathroom with a shower.
- The Mariposa Suite includes a queen-size bed and a garden-view bathroom with a shower.
- The Sangrillo Suite offers a king-size bed, a deep soaking bathtub, a separate shower, and views of the pool.
The outdoor kitchen, dining area, and living spaces are designed to keep everyone connected. Spend time in the pool, relax on the comfortable sectional, stream shows on the new 42-inch smart television, or lounge on the deck beneath the Goddess Tree.
Each bedroom also has a private outdoor area where you can:

- Enjoy quiet coffee or reading time in a hanging macramé swing for two.
- Lounge beside the pool and soak up the sun.

Explore the grounds and enjoy the wildlife supported by the resident Goddess Tree. You may see a sloth resting high in the branches, toucans and macaws flying overhead, or Blue Morpho butterflies, which local residents consider a blessing.
After sunset, look for fireflies and clear skies filled with stars.

Important Information
Jungle Environment
Villa Tres Lunas is located in an open-air jungle environment. Although every effort is made to keep the property clean and prevent insects from entering the air-conditioned suites, you may occasionally see a bug. Keeping the suite doors closed can help.
The village is growing, so construction may be visible or audible at times. You may also encounter local wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, toucans, and geckos.
Electricity and Air Conditioning
Electricity is a luxury in the jungle, and short outages may occur, particularly during major storms. Please help conserve electricity by turning off the air conditioning when it is not in use or raising the temperature.
Quiet Hours
This property is not suitable for loud gatherings. The hosts occupy a nearby home and value the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.

Smoking and Pets

Our stay was really incredible. We loved the house, the outside living area, the neighborhood, the sounds of the jungle day and night. The only thing, and I know there’s nothing to be done about it, is the sound of constructions around that sometimes spoils the beautiful peace of the house. But the hosts have been really amazing and understanding. We really hope to be back soon! Thank you

We had a lovely time in Villa Tres Lunas! The house is modern and beautiful decorated, it felt like we were in the middle of a djungel with the howler monkeys nearby. Our hosts Wendy and Heather communicated proactive to us and gave us lots of useful information.

Villa Tres Lunas exceeded our expectations. Incredibly private and a feast for the senses - waking to bird calls and howler monkeys each morning; listening to tropical rain drumming on the roof; spotting birds in the palms fringing the deck and monkeys in the trees beyond. Beautifully designed and furnished - I’ve never had such a comfy sun lounger! Beds super comfy too. Loved the outdoor kitchen, which had everything we needed and more, such as hot and cold water dispenser. Washer and drier also a bonus. Heather and Wendy were always quick and friendly in response to our questions but tbh, we didn’t need to ask many, as the info supplied was thorough and very helpful. We hired bikes and were able to reach Puerto Viejo and beaches at Cocles, Punta Uva, Arrecife easily. Recommend Puerto Pirata for sundowner cocktails! And look up Jaguar Rescue Centre - we usually avoid organised tours but this one was special. Thank you Heather and Wendy for sharing your slice of Caribbean paradise!

We had an incredible stay here. The property itself is absolutely stunning—tucked into a jungle setting with beautiful surroundings (and even a resident sloth with a baby!). It felt peaceful, private, and truly special. A short walk through beautiful tropical streets to the beach was awesome too! What made the experience exceptional, though, was the host. They were consistently responsive, checked in thoughtfully, and were always ready to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure every part of our trip was enjoyable—even things that weren’t their responsibility, like offering to help us when we had a flat tire. Giving great suggestions for restaurants and activities too. They took ownership of our experience in a way that felt genuine, not performative. You can tell they truly care. This wasn’t just great service—it felt heartfelt. We’d absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for the trip (and accommodation) of a lifetime, STAY HERE!

Excelente lugar, pasamos un tiempo en familia muy tranquilo, tiene todas las comodidades para disfrutar de la estadía, una experiencia caribeña completa que incluye vegetación y fauna en un mismo lugar. Las habitaciones divinas y cómodas, así como el espacio de la cocina comedor piscina que hacen del lugar una perfección para la convivencia! Definitivamente lo recomiendo, tienen un 100 en todo, regresaremos por supuesto!

Tout a été parfait pour notre séjour à Las tres Lunas La visite des ratons laveurs farceurs et Luna le paresseux qui nous a fait une visite dans l’arbre face à la terrasse nous ont ravi. Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée avec le repas Caribéen préparé par la Cheffe Glenda. Merci à Wendy pour son aide Elle était aux petits soins pour nous . Un séjour inoubliable pour nous tous 😍

Hermosa casa en medio de la jungla, es exactamente como sale en las fotos. Habitaciones muy cómodas, la cocina tiene de todo, la piscina esta muy linda y funciona excelente que este ahí mismo (pero si no sale el sol, esta helada!). Tiene hermosas vistas a la naturaleza. Esta cerca del pueblo, pero hay que ir en carro. Es muy silencioso y se puede descansar y dormir muy bien. Perfecta para un plan tranquilo.
