Villa Doña Iñes

We had an amazing stay at Villa Dona Ines. The houses were beautiful and the gardens and the pool were peaceful and relaxing. Jean Marc and Rhonda were extremely communicative and helpful. They always responded immediately and gave us great suggestions and were helpful with whatever we needed. Dauly who runs the house on a day-to-day basis was amazing. He was there every day and anything that we needed was done or responded to immediately. Xiumara kept the house beautiful clean and was so helpful. The house was exactly the pictures. We were 11 people and had more than enough room. The house is close within walking distance to everything. We would definitely return. We had a great vacation. These were the best hosts we have ever had.

11 of us stayed at Jean Marc’s home for 9 days and enjoyed it. It was spacious and clean. Xeomara and Luca, the housekeeper and property manager were very helpful. We had preplanned many activities, but Luca checked in with us daily to see if we needed help setting anything up. We could walk to the beach or restaurants, but rented golf carts for our time since it was rainy and humid. With the crazy humidity, the air conditioning worked great and it was always refreshing to come home to.

Everything about the place was great. Clean, beautiful, comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Good toilet paper. Etc.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Dona Ines. Lots of space to spread out, lie around the pool outdoors or on the couches inside. The kids loved playing in the pool. We had many meals together at the big beautiful dining room table. It’s a great place to stay with a large group!

Exceptional ! The property private compound is outstanding. Multiple living spaces, immaculate, full of Costa Rican Charm!! The grounds are pristine, the daily housekeeping was the best! Luca the caretaker brought a caring, loving, feel to everything, a real plus. He went to great lengths to assure our Family of 11 were well cared for. Secluded yet so close to all services, beach, restaurants, grocery stores etc… The pool are me had plenty of lounging. The day bed invited peaceful rest.. The BBQ area was well used and cleaned daily.. the large bottled water service was a real plus. The neighborhood is safe! 10 minute walk to beach. We rented 2 golf carts to take our family to any locations we desires. Thank you Jean Marc!!

Perfect place for families to stay ! Beautiful pool area, your own private palm tree oasis.:) Lovely master bed suite, plenty of space. Everything is within an easy walkable distance, great restaurants, market, bank and beach. But Tamarindo road conditions can be hazardous for the elderly or wheelchairs, lots of potholes and no sidewalks. Other than that, we loved the place and Costa Rica, Pura Vida !

Villa Doña Inez was the perfect place for our family of 15 who had gone to Tamarindo for a family wedding: five couples , two teenagers, and three children 12 and under. It is an easy walking distance to town - in fact you’d be hard put to find such a big house any closer. There is a decent sized grocery store within a five minute walk, and a huge one about ten minutes away by car. The villa is spacious, spotless, with an extremely well equipped kitchen. It is decorated with attractive and comfortable furniture, plenty of room indoors and out. We used the grill, which looks new, and the cabana.  The caretaker, Luca, checked in a couple of times a day and was completely responsive to all of our questions and needs. It was luxurious to have daily housekeeping included: I was leery at first at having someone come in every day but Simara was lovely and deferential to our comings and goings.  The pool was a nice size with ample lounge chairs and the cabana nearby.  It is cleaned a couple of times a week and Luca gave us plenty of time to plan around it.  There's an outdoor table with plenty of seating which we unfortunately did not use because by the time we were ready to eat in the evening, the bugs were ready too. This may vary by time of year - in general bugs are not really a problem in Costa Rica. The indoor table is also ample. There were a couple of issues when we arrived, about which I communicated with the host by email and the caretaker in person. One involved clarification about the use of the washer and dryer, and the other involved something that needed repair. Both were resolved to our satisfaction.

Villa Donna Ines was a fantastic property for my family vacation. We brought 7 adults and 3 kids and had room to spare. The home is even nicer than the pictures show! Having Luca, the property manager, on site initially concerned me. However, he is priceless. Not only is he polite but he gives you your privacy and is incredibly helpful. Any questions/concerns that you have about the home or local area are quickly and accurately answered. Air conditioning was cold, water was hot, house was clean. Of note, the included cleaning service is fantastic especially after coming home from a long day on the beach. The location is very good. A safe neighborhood behind a locked gate and tall foliage. There are several restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The walk to the beach was 15 minutes but that was mostly because we had a 5 year old and two 8 year olds with us. The main road off of the property got a bit muddy when it rained, but it was easily overcome-able. Jean Marc and his wife Rhonda were very easy to communicate with and provided all of the necessary details. They even helped set up our transportation to/from the airport. We highly recommend Villa Donna Ines for any large group visiting Tamarindo, you wont be dissapointed.

The house was exactly as expected - clean and spacious within 10 min walking distance to the main strip and beach. The location is around the corner from the Thursday Night market; which we enjoyed. The street is quieter with less traffic. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and pots/pans and we used the grill by the pool. The pool was regularly cleaned, as were the grounds. Luca, the house manager lives on the grounds and was very helpful and friendly. He is awesome and checked in on us daily. There is natural privacy "wall" of tall bushes for those other reviews that mention the proximity. It was not a problem for us and what we are accustomed to. All the TVs worked, the beds were comfortable, and plenty of pillows all around. The only thing I missed was a lamp or two. Pack a nightlight if you have little ones.

This Airbnb was perfect! close to the town which made it a lot easier to deal with during rainy season. Luca the manager of the property was excellent. He made great recommendations for food place as well as help with planning excursions. I recommend this listing for everyone!
