We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, the mountain views were incredible, and everything was perfect—from the pool to the overall experience. The host was also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We had a great one night stay at Diogenes' place. The peaceful environment, the beautiful surroundings, and the pool were fabulous. We loved the waterfalls and appreciated Diogenes' communication and recommendations. We'd love to go back!

It was a beautiful house in a beautiful location. For us, it was just a bit inconvenient in terms of transportation because we had a bus and it was not allowed on the property. This was, however, very well resolved because a taxi was available.

Het was een prachtig huis op een prachtige locatie, voor ons was het alleen wat onhandig qua vervoer want wij hadden een bus en die mocht het terrein niet op, dit werd aan de andere kant wel heel goed opgelost doordat er een taxi beschikbaar was.

The house in El Encanto in Altos de María de Diógenes is spectacular. It's the same as shown in the photos. The place is very cozy and very well equipped. Perfect for enjoying a few days with friends. You can have a very entertaining time. You have everything from a heated pool to a pool table, a poker table and board games, so you'll never get bored. Additionally, there is a well-equipped kitchen and a gas barbecue with all the tools. Honestly, it's an excellent opportunity to enjoy the mountains of Altos del María.

La casa en El Encanto en Altos de María de Diógenes es espectacular. Es igual a como aparece en las fotos, el lugar es muy acogedor y muy bien equipado. Perfecto para disfrutar unos días con amigos, se puede pasar un tiempo muy entretenido. Tienes desde una piscina térmica, hasta una mesa de billar, mesa de poker y juegos de mesa para no aburrirte nunca. Adicional una cocina bien equipada y un asador con gas con todos los implementos. La verdad es una  excelente oportunidad para disfrutar de las montañas de Altos del María.

There were 14 of us staying, and we loved it. The house was very big, and it was very convenient to go to the nearby waterfall. The check-in was smooth.The only shortcoming was that the water in the pool was not clean, so we didn't go swimming.

Very good place to spend the weekend and get away from the city. The place is beautiful and everything you can do around the property makes it even more perfect. The host was always available for any questions and gave us splendid service.

Great place! I had a wonderful birthday with the people I love the most. The house is super well equipped and the heated pool was a total success. We were able to enjoy it at any time without worrying about the cold. Also, having a generator was a big plus, because although the power went out a couple of times, we never ran out of electricity. As suggestions for improvement: 1. Adding a few bathrooms with showers near the pool would be ideal, especially for large groups. 2. Maintain some of the pool tiles. 3. For those of us who travel with pets, having a fenced area would give us much more peace of mind. We definitely want to come back, this time with a larger group. I hope you can take these recommendations into account!

¡Excelente lugar! Pasé un cumpleaños hermoso junto a las personas que más quiero. La casa está súper bien equipada y la piscina climatizada fue un éxito total; pudimos disfrutarla a cualquier hora sin preocuparnos por el frío. Además, tener planta eléctrica fue un gran plus, porque aunque se fue la luz un par de veces, nunca nos quedamos sin electricidad. Como sugerencias de mejora: 1. Agregar algunos baños con ducha cerca de la piscina sería ideal, especialmente para grupos grandes. 2. Darle mantenimiento a algunas baldosas de la piscina. 3. Para quienes viajamos con mascotas, contar con un área cercada daría mucha más tranquilidad. Sin duda queremos regresar, esta vez con un grupo más grande. ¡Ojalá puedan tomar en cuenta estas recomendaciones!

The house is fully equipped, with comfortable rooms, full in-house entertainment, and an equipped kitchen. La verdad no podría describir todo lo lindo que había, si realmente te gusta la naturaleza amarás el lugar! La casa full equipada, habitaciones cómodas, full entretenimiento en casa, cocina equipada. The views were breathtaking, the house was huge and the host was amazing! The waterfalls by the home were also a sight to see. We felt very safe and at peace in the home. We played in the pool and enjoyed cooking our meals here. The one warning I would have for future guests is you need either 4wheel or a powerful 2wheel to get up the hills. But it’s so worth the drive.

What a wonderful place to unwind and relax in nature. Great hiking trails,  and plenty of room in the huge house.  Diogenes is a great host and very responsive and accommodating.

The house is spectacular. Just as described in the photo. The kitchen does need more things. Everything else is very nice. If you're traveling with children or teenagers, the neighbors complain about the slightest thing, even if they're not making any noise. It was a nice experience for everyone.

La casa es espectacular. Tal cual como se describe en la foto. A la cocina si le falta tener más cosas. De resto todo muy lindo. Si vas con niños o adolescentes los vecinos se quejan de lo más mínimo aunque no estén haciendo ruido. Fue una experiencia linda para todos.

It's an excellent option to get away from the city. We went in the summer, so we were able to visit the waterfall; it was great for swimming with children. The house is excellent, exactly like the photos, and the additional cabin provides plenty of space for large groups.

The stay here was wonderful. The kids loved the pool and the house and bonus house were tons of space for us. The area is quite far away from anything, only one restaurant close by, but the area is beautiful. There is a waterfall within a 20 minute walk!

The house is just as described in the photos: super clean and spacious, ideal for a large group, since it has an additional cabin with beds that even has its own kitchen. Diogenes was very attentive and responded quickly to all our questions and issues during the stay. The pool is perfect for relaxing, and the speakers built into the house to listen to music are a great plus. There is also room to make a campfire when the weather is cool and have a great time with friends. They also have a good variety of board games. We would definitely stay here again.

La piscina es perfecta para relajarse, y las bocinas integradas en la casa para escuchar música son un gran plus. También hay espacio para hacer una fogata cuando el clima está fresco y pasar un buen rato con amigos. Además, cuentan con una buena variedad de juegos de mesa. Sin duda, en otra ocasión volveríamos a hospedarnos.

This home is even nicer than the pictures! Very comfortable for a large group (we had 7). Beautiful setting to chill and hang out and natural surroundings to explore. One of the best hosts I’ve ever had. The kitchen was short on cooking utensils and pots and pans and there are no groceries or restaurants nearby so come prepared. Lovely, lovely vacation home full of light.

Our stay was great.  We had a group of 14 family members and everyone loved the stay.  Diogenes did a great job again helping me find different items in the house.  We loved the landscape and warm pool.  I would definitely recommend this home.

The location is unbeatable if you're looking for an off-the-beaten-track vacation, with great access to rainforests, nature, and small towns, and the beach is not too far either. The host is super communicative and eager to help in any way, with great recommendations and a can-do attitude. The house is great and a solid value for money. Some improvements to the shower and kitchen would have made this a 5/5.
