This home made the trip perfect. The staff is warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The trip would not have been the same if we had stayed somewhere else. It is truly the best location you could hope for. We also love that it’s not a modern style cold new build. It feels warm and authentic.

Wonderful location at the end of the beach. Full set of stairs down to beach. Amazing views from the palapa. Only stayed in the upper level - kitchen well stocked. Wind was intense most days, which added to the general sandiness of the porch. They did a good job keeping the porch clean. Needs a larger rug from the yard to patio wipe your feet/shoes bc it’s hard not to track in lots of dirt. The porch was wonderful, fan helpful for a breeze & keep few bugs away. Alexander met us there. I don’t think he speaks any English so luckily I speak ok Spanish ;) The howler monkey were SO fun! That said, this is not the vaca house should you want to sleep in - commotion starts before 6am most days! Really disappointed there were NO hammocks and not able to replace them during our week long stay. Only 1 beach, 1 bath towel/person. Wish they brought clean beach towels mid week. Can pay for laundry. 15 min walk to town. Other restaurants much closer. Can rent escooters if don’t want to walk.

The Beach House is amazing! The location just steps away from the beach. Spending afternoons reading in a hammock while listening to the ocean can't be beat. The best part is that we didn't need to use our car once as everything was within walking distance to the city. The pool was a wonderful addition. We even got to see monkeys (believe they were spider monkeys) on our last afternoon enjoying lunch in the trees in the back yard. If we're ever back in Tamarindo, we will definitely book again. Great place!

This house is just perfection. You might think some of the pictures in the listing are file photos or screen savers, but no - they are real. It was the perfect home base for our week stay. The beach access was clutch, and the location was just a bit outside all the Main Street activity so it was quiet at night (unless monkeys were visiting). The house attendants were very nice and helpful. But of all the amenities, our favorite was Missy the house dog: she is the best behaved dog we know and saved us from a particularly aggressive crab one night. Literally the best dog ever: 14/10. We will be back!

Seriously I wish I could live here! The place is beautiful and made the start to our wedding week perfect! Donna was so communicative and I just wish we could stay there forever! Also huge bonus was Missy, the sweetest yellow lab that made that experience even more magical! Worth every penny, and if you’re second guessing don’t, and add more nights! Thank you for sharing this beautiful space!

Have to say, we’ve stayed in a lot of different places but this one “takes the cake!” We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Beach House. Anything you would need was available-kitchen well appointed, plenty of towels (in bathrooms & for beach), plenty of chairs on covered porch for when all 5 of us wanted to sit together as a group. We loved having the pool, the tiki hut, & easy access to the beach! Everything was very clean when we arrived & kept clean all week we were there. Ileana, the housekeeper, & Alexander, the groundskeeper, were very sweet & helpful. Of course we loved Missy always greeting us with a wagging tail! The setting of the property was awesome & the view out to the bay breathtaking! We would definitely look into staying at this property again if coming back to Costa Rica!

Having stayed in langosta for many years this house is a great location and great floor plan for 3 couples or a group of 6.

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. The house is in the perfect location- a short walk to town and just steps from the beach. We also all fell in love with Missy. She is the sweetest dog. The owners are very responsive to any questions. They met us there to check in and even messaged me with restaurant and grocery store recommendations.

This place is a perfect place to stay! Beautiful scenery, steps to the beach, private hammocks that overlook the beach. Short walk down the beach, or roads, to restaurants and activities. The third bedroom is kind of separate from the other two, like an attached mother in law suite, perfect place for my parents to stay to be able to retire for the night earlier than us and the kids. We loved Missy, she was so sweet, loved walking on the beach and playing with the kids. The staff that came each day to clean were super nice and helpful! Shortly after she showed up, things were spotless again! We took advantage of the in-home traditional meal offered, it was delicious! Saw monkeys in the trees feet away from us on the porch. Took surfing lessons just down the beach. The hosts were super responsive and helpful with all our questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better, more relaxing place to stay on our first visit to Costa Rica!
