I was attracted to the unique design of the space. I was not pleased that we spent the nights killing bugs and fighting off mosquitos inside the studio. It was a long walk from the parking spot to the 2nd floor, especially with luggage. The pool was also stagnant so we did not use it.

The round bed is very comfortable. This place is for those who don't like straight lines. All interior and exterior surfaces are curved/round. Quite original.

Fascinating architectural masterpiece and amazing grounds/pool/shared spaces. Quiet and private, but still 15 minutes from all the places you'd want to go in Placencia, and that also means it's convenient if your driving into the mainland to do hiking or ecotourism. Adorable geckos will come visit you in the (amazing) shower, and the whole place just feels special. Not walking or biking distance from the stuff to do in town, but if you have a rental car or golf cart this isn't a problem. 100% would stay again and highly recommend.

We had an absolute fantastic stay, it was a real special treat. Excellent attention to detail and such a beautifully concept. It felt so special to stay in Swan Villa - if i ever travel to Placencia again, i will definitely book Swan Villa again. The swimming pool at the end of a hot day, after sunset is a special treat! The little glow in the dark glass pebbles are so cute!

Place looks really nice, unfortunately out host canceled our booking less then an hour before our check in time. This cost us hundreds in additional booking, transportation, etc. unfortunately the host did not offer any help or credit other then a full refund. After this, they texted my private number and instructed me to cancel my reservation on my end if I want my refund, despite the fact this goes against AirBNB guidelines, forcing me to go through Airbnb’s customer support. Overall the experience felt very unprofessional.

The shark suite was a funky, okay room but it was in a shared building with 3 other rooms. We had unfortunate luck of having a large group, partying all night long in the suite below us. The sound easily travelled into our room. Not entirely the swan villa’s fault but they did not have anyone on site to deal with the unpleasant guests either. I tried complaining through air bnb first but had to confront the neighbours myself to get some peace.
