Great price. My only hesitation with this location is the train that starts at 445 am. Makes it difficult to sleep.

Great place to start your trip in Costa Rica. In the middle of Barrio Escalante so you cab walk to many great restaurants and an absolutely amazing view from the 27th floor.

The place was fine, but we rented it for 5 people (allowed by the place), and the sofa bed for the fifth person didn't have a pillow. Also, the kitchen was too incomplete. It's not designed for someone who wants to eat there. There were 5 of us, and there was only 1 glass and 1 cup. The bathroom was very well stocked (towels, shampoo, soap, etc.) At night the street is very noisy (even on the 27th floor), but if you close the windows you can't hear anything, but there's not as much air circulating. I recommend it if you're staying a few nights

El alojamiento estaba bien pero lo alquilamos para 5 personas (permitido por el alojamiento) y el sofá cama para la quinta persona no tenia almohada. Ademas la cocina estaba demasiado incompleta, no esta pensado para alguien que quiera comer alli. Eramos 5 personas y habia solo 1 vaso y 1 taza. El baño estaba muy completo (toallas, shampoo, jabon, etc) Por la noche la calle es muy ruidosa (aun estando en el piso 27) pero si cierras las ventanas ya no se escucha nada pero ya no corre tanto aire Lo recomiendo si vas pocas noches

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this apartment block. Great location, easy check in, great places to eat close by, easy walk into the city. Now the ares of consideration; bring ear plugs as Tram horn blasted all the time from 5am -midnight. If you’re looking to sleep you’ll need ear plugs. This Apartment was dusty, no air con. We booked for 5 to stay and got bedding for 4, same as towels only for 4 people. Black out blind in main living area did not work, so for 5th guest on the sofa bed it was hot, noisy, no bedding, no fan, no towel & no bedding. Kitchen area; crockery, cutlery, glasses & cups apartment only supplied for one person. Not helpful. Also No tea towels, dirty worn out sponge supplied to clean kitchen. No complimentary coffee supplied which is what another apartment in same building provided. Whilst I would stay in this apartment block again, I would not book to stay on floor 27 in this one unless they addressed all the points above.

Excellent place, nice views, very nice open spaces in the building to enjoy and take beautiful photos. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, with very comfortable beds. It's very clean, with a good view from both the rooms and the balcony. The only thing that's missing is a few more kitchen utensils 🧑‍🍳 and the door to the storage room inside the apartment needs to be repaired. Other than that, everything is spectacular.

Excelente lugar, lindas vistas, muy bonitos espacios libres en el edificio para disfrutar y sacar bellas fotos, el apartamento muy cómodo y espacioso, camas muy confortables, muy limpio, buena vista tanto habitaciónes como balcon, lo único que hace falta un poco más de utensilios de cocina 🧑‍🍳 y q reparen la puerta de la bodega q está adentro del apartamento, luego de eso todo espectacular.

Excellent place and everything was very good

This place was very convenient as it was near the downtown area and it had a nice view. It is also next to the night life area (clubs and bars), if you are into that stuff. Overall, the apartment was very clean. However, there were a couple things to note and I see that it has also been mentioned in previous reviews as well. One of the toilets, the hinge on the toilet seat was broken and completely off. There are no paper towels in the kitchen and both bathrooms had no toilet paper. I was in the middle of using the toilet when I had to get up and look all over the apartment for toilet paper. There was also no blow dryer for your hair. The host was very responsive. However, this is unacceptable to begin with, especially when these complaints have happened before in their reviews.

It's an excellent place to stay; the view is great.

The location is excellent. As everyone in the previous reviews mentioned, there was a lack of maintenance; there were no towels to dry your hands in the kitchen, and there were few cooking utensils. They took the Wi-Fi router, and throughout our stay, they left us without internet. We sent messages, and they told us they would fix it, which they never did. The sofa bed was dirty, and it is EXTREMELY HOT. The fans provided don't even create a breeze, and if you wanted to open the windows to cool down, you couldn't because of the noise outside.

La ubicación súper bien, solo como dicen todos los comentarios anteriores falta de mantenimiento, no habían ni paños para secarse las manos en la cocina y poco utensilios de cocina. Se llevaron el Rauter del WI-FI y en toda la estadía nos dejaron sin internet, pusimos mensajes y nos dijeron que lo iban a solucionar, cosa que nunca hicieron, el sofá cama estaba sucio y hace DEMASIADA CALOR y los abanicos que hay ni viento tiran y en el caso que se quieran abrir las ventanas para el calor no se podría por el ruido que hay afuera.

The apartment is comfortable and has an excellent layout, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The bed was FULL of hair, as if the blankets hadn't been washed, and the bathroom was the same—there was hair on the shower walls. Please note that very early in the morning, you can hear the train, and there are no frying pans for cooking, only pots.

El departamento es cómodo y con excelente distribución pero la limpieza deja muchísimo que desear, la cama estaba LLENA de pelos, como si no hubieran lavado las cobijas, el baño era lo mismo, la regadera tenía cabello el las paredes. Hay que tomar en cuenta que muy temprano se escucha el tren al igual que no hay sartenes para cocinar, solo ollas.

Flawless place, very safe, with all the amenities, lots of restaurants nearby, close to downtown. It only has one tiny “but,” and it's not the property's fault. Trains run non-stop from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The problem is that every time it goes by, it keeps beeping to warn cars and pedestrians… But by the second night, our brains got used to it, and we stopped hearing it… However, we will definitely stay here again. A 10/10 for the place, for hosting guests, and for cleanliness. Excellent!

Lugar impecable, muy seguro, con todas las comodidades, muchos restaurantes en los alrededores, cerca del centro. Solo tiene un pequeñísimo “pero” y no es culpa del establecimiento. Los trenes pasan desde las 5 de la mañana hasta las 8 de la noche, sin parar. El problema es que cada vez que pasa, no para de pitar para avisar a coches y peatones.. Pero a la segunda noche nuestro cerebro se acostumbró y dejamos de oírlo.. No obstante, SIN duda repetiremos. Un 10 de lugar, dejamos gente y de limpieza. Excelente!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful; they were very clear with the instructions. The apartment is quite spacious compared to other options in Escalante; honestly, we even found it reasonably priced for its size. I will definitely keep it in mind for future stays.

Los hosts fueron muy amables y atentos, fueron muy claros con las indicaciones. El apartamento es bastante amplio comparado con otras opciones en Escalante, sinceramente nos pareció incluso cómodo de precio para el tamaño. Sin duda lo tendré en mis opciones para futuras ocasiones.

Beautiful views, great to spend a night in San Jose. Me and my friends were pretty comfortable.

Both the building and the rooms are very nice, with plenty of amenities and a very good view. Unfortunately, I can't say that everything was pleasant. There were a few issues that prevented me from giving an excellent rating. The most significant one was that we were asked to vacate the apartment earlier than planned. I should clarify that they provided a solution by sending us to another building and refunding us through the app; however, this change forced us to modify our itinerary, and unfortunately, the host did not provide any explanation for the change. When we arrived at the other building, they didn't know what was going on, as the same host had told us via the app that he would personally give us the key to the other apartment, but he never showed up. However, the receptionist at the other building was very friendly and resolved the situation with that host. It’s a place that I would recommend and I would return to. I just hope that this situation was an exception.

El edificio como los cuartos son muy bonitos, con bastantes amenidades y una muy buena vista, lamentablemente no puedo decir que todo fue grato. Fueron algunas situaciones las que se presentaron que no me permite dejar una excelente calificación, la más importante fue que nos pidieron desalojar el departamento antes de lo previsto, aclaro que nos dieron solución mandándonos a otro edificio y con la devolución de dinero por parte de la app, sin embargo, este cambio nos hizo modificar nuestro itinerario, y lamentablemente el host no nos dio aclaración de la modificación. Al momento de llegar al otro edificio no sabían que estaba pasando, ya que el mismo host por mensajes de la app nos mencionó que personalmente nos daría la llave del otro departamento, pero nunca se presentó. Sin embargo, la recepcionista del otro edificio fue muy amable y soluciono la situación con dicho anfitrión. Es un lugar que, si recomendase y volvería, solo espero que esta situación haya sido atípica.

The apartment is really pretty and the view phenomenal. The Urbn Tower is really great... It was very annoying that despite repeated requests we did not get a second key - with three people that was really inconvenient. We reported on the first day that the couch was dirty. Also, both toilet lids are loose. No one came in the 14 days to fix this. The kitchen offers cutlery and plates, but only 2 glasses and 2 pots. For a small snack everything is ok - if you want to cook properly, you have to improvise or buy/bring more kitchen utensils.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich hübsch und die Aussicht phänomenal. Der Urbn Tower ist wirklich klasse... Sehr ärgerlich war, dass wir trotz wiederholter Bitte keinen zweiten Schlüssel bekommen haben - bei drei Leuten war das wirklich umständlich. Daß die Couch dreckig ist, haben wir am ersten Tag gemeldet. Ebenso, dass beide Toilettendeckel lose sind. Es kam in den 14 Tagen niemand, um dies zu reparieren. Die Küche bietet Besteck und Teller, aber nur 2 Gläser und 2 Töpfe. Für einen kleinen Snack ist alles ok - wenn man richtig kochen möchte, muss man improvisieren oder weitere Küchenutensilien einkaufen/mitbringen.

Great place. Spacious, clean, looks as described. Very close proximity to nightlife. Hotel filled with lots of amenities. We enjoyed our stay here.

Good stay in a great building walking distance from downtown. Apartment is as described. Note that the bedsheets and sofa were stained, and the toilet lids were dislocated. The host is very responsive. Thank you !

We celebrated New Year with my family in the apartment and loved the place: very clean, comfortable and pleasant. As an aspect to consider, being located in a tower, there are some building rules and guidelines that are not always detailed before booking. Other than that, everything was great. The host was very helpful, helped us answer our questions and communicate with management at all times.

Celebramos Año Nuevo con mi familia en el apartamento y nos encantó el lugar: muy limpio, cómodo y agradable. Como aspecto a considerar, al estar ubicado en una torre, existen algunas reglas y lineamientos del edificio que no siempre se detallan antes de hacer la reserva. Fuera de eso, todo estuvo muy bien. El host fue muy atento, nos ayudó a resolver nuestras dudas y a comunicarnos con la administración en todo momento.

This was our second time staying here. On the positive side the beds are very comfortable and the view is awesome! There is also free parking. The area is great for restaurants. It is not for people who are bothered by noise. You will hear the train horns blaring at 5AM. During this stay, the same issues from 18 months earlier had not been taken care of: There were no sheets for the sleeper sofa and we again had to wait until the second day to receive them. This was very disappointing and a big problem since we were 5 people. The master bathroom door does not latch or lock and both toilet seats are loose. The kitchen pots are also in poor condition and the sofa was very dirty. Only one set of keys was available for all to share. I would consider a third time only if the items that I mentioned are addressed.

Great place to stay, and very responsive at night. Just careful if you want to bring guests, as the front desks and security says they arent allowed.

The place was perfect for our trip. Lost do in the area, we were able to leave our rental car securely parked while we walked to bars and restaurants. Out of the control of the host, the commuter train does start making loud noises at 5am, this is because the rail crossings do not have the needed equipment to block crossings, hopefully the city will install these so the train doesn’t have to announce itself. Also, the price was a bit too high. Other than that, great place!

An excellent place to stay, with a very good location, the apartment is as described, communication with the hosts is always fluid and they are always willing to collaborate and solve problems.

There were no napkins, few utensils in the kitchen, no rags to clean. The bathrooms are neglected, both with broken toilets and somewhat dirty. In one of the bathrooms there was no shampoo in the containers. The perfect location, but there's a lot to improve on with maintenance.

The apartment looks like the photos. Although I saw in other reviews people complaining about the noise of the train, I wanted to give it a chance, and if you are thinking of resting or have a light sleep, this is not the right place because the train passes all the time honking very loudly.

El departamento se ve como en las fotos. A pesar que vi en otros reviews gente quejarse del ruido del tren, quise darle una oportunidad , y si estan pensando en descansar o tienen sueno ligero, este no es lugar adecuado por el hecho de que el tren pasa todo el tiempo tocando bocina muy fuerte.

Kitchen without basic things like cleaners or kitchen towels. A bedspread in a bedroom had several stains, it looked old.

We had a great time, easy access and instructions, we missed out on some amenities.

The experience was not so pleasant, there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms, we lacked bath towels, lack of signs in the elevators, there were 5 of us and the sofa was not the most comfortable option for a fifth person, it did not look the most pleasant (in negative toilet).

The place is in a quiet and beautiful area, but the apartment has no ventilation and if you open the window at night you will hear all the noise around (if you are not used to it, it will not let you sleep). The place has a very nice view and is a modern place. Check-in is autonomous, but in my case the person who attended us was not very friendly and the registration was delayed in order to check in, even though the information had already been sent in advance. I think it's a good option and centrally located.

El lugar está en una zona tranquila y bonita, pero el departamento no tiene ventilación y si abres la ventana en la noche escucharas todo el ruido de al rededor (si no estas acostumbrado no te dejará dormir). El lugar tiene una vista muy linda y es un lugar moderno. La llegada es autónoma, pero en mi caso quien nos atendió no fue del todo amistoso y fue tardado el registro para poder hacer el check in, incluso aunque la información ya se había mandado con anticipación. Creo que es una buena opción y céntrico.

Perfect location. Amazing view. Very clean and well appointed apartment. Two real bedrooms. Note, however: Poor insulation of the windows. And bad smell in the bathroom.

The stay was amazing. The place is exactly as shown in the photos: clean, comfortable and perfectly located. The host was very nice and responsive, always available for any questions. The area is quiet, safe and close to restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was just what we needed. Comfy beds with a nice view and the location was great. Very central and close to everything. We would definitely be happy to stay here again on our next visit to San Jose.

A beautiful experience! The apartment is as shown in the photos, the kitchen is well-stocked, there was a hair dryer and an iron. The building is beautiful and the view we had from the apartment was unbeatable. The location is excellent as it is not in the chaos of downtown but easy to access on foot, in the area there are bars and a restaurant (even under the building there is a cafeteria and a pasta restaurant). The host was very quick with the answers to our questions and the building's reception staff too. We would definitely come back

Una hermosa experiencia ! El departamento es tal cual se muestra en las fotos, la cocina esquilada , había secador de cabello y plancha de ropa. El edificio es hermosos y la vista que teníamos desde el departamento inmejorable. La ubicación es excelente ya que no se encuentra en el pleno caos del centro pero fácil de acceder a pie , en la zona hay bares y restaurant (mismo debajo del edifico hay una cafetería y un restaurant de pastas). El anfitrión fue muy rápido con las respuestas a nuestras dudas y el personal de la recepción del edificio también. Volveríamos sin duda
