Bahia Langosta #24 near Tamarindo

We had a wonderful stay at Langosta Tamarindo. The location is hard to beat—just steps from the beach. It’s about a 20-minute walk into Tamarindo town, which we found to be the perfect balance. Langosta itself is much quieter and more relaxed, yet there are still about 6 great restaurants within easy walking distance. One of the highlights of the property is the pool area, which is beautiful and appears to have been recently upgraded. It’s a great spot to unwind and meet other travelers. The complex is gated with 24-hour security, which made us feel very safe, and it’s located on a paved road—definitely a plus in the area. The balcony was a favorite spot of ours, offering a peaceful green view of the trees and even the occasional iguana sighting. Inside, the unit had a large-screen TV and a spacious refrigerator with an ice maker, which was very convenient. One downside would be that the kitchen could use some updating. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Très bien situé, proximité de la plage, bien équipé et sécuritaire. Excellent service de Maria. Des travailleurs étaient un peu bruyants tôt le matin, mais nous sommes matinaux et donc c’était un inconvénient mineur. Merci

This location is perfect for Tamarindo. With its private beach access we walked every morning to the heart of Tamarindo for coffee and pastries. The condo was super well cooled and the hamac on the balcony was amazing. The pool was clean and perfect for a dip after surfing the waves. A couple of watch outs: this condo unit is right next door to a major resort so expect some form of entertainment spill-over from 10AM to the late evening. There are also lots of AC units on the outside wall which made a constant humming. Keep in mind that this unit gets 5 stars because of the location and value considering that this unit is dated and will require some updating in the next couple of years.

Me gusto mucho el departamento. Es dentro de un condominio con seguridad y parking. Es muy fácil el acceso, esta en la calle principal de langosta. A 15/20 mins caminando, esta buenisimo. Tenes la calma de la playa langosta, el condo tuene una puerta y salis directo a la playa. El departamento esta muy bien, tal cual las fotos . Limpio y ordenado. La vista es hermosa con toda la vegetacion,no se ve el mar porque los arboles lo tapan. Tirne toallas de playa. Bien equipado, pava electrica cafetera hernoda heladera, lavavajillas y laundry. Dejan producto para lavar . Esta miy bien calidad precio. Lo unico que me gustaria sugerir es que podrian dejar alguna heladera para llevar a la playa y sillas , esi es muy comodo cuando unonesta de vacaciones. Seria un plus de confort. Quedamos muy conformes. Check in perfefro te dan una clave y entras . Check out fueron flexible . Volveria .

This is really amazing apartment - spacious, not cluttered, great for chilling out. It is very close to the beach, but removed from the noise of downtown Tamarindo. The host was super friendly and let us check out late to accommodate for us having a sick child and needing to wait before leaving the town.

The location was in Playa Langosta, but basically Tamarindo. It was gated. Had parking. Pool was huge and nice and a short walk to the beach. Lively hotel nextboor, but DJ didn’t keep us up. This was a very spacious place!The upstairs bedroom is like a penthouse. All Beds comfy, black out shades in room and dim lighting options. Washer/dryer worked well and detergent provided. Has coffee maker. Large fridge. Ample dishes. Good a/c. Huge patio and plenty of seating throughout space. Tv only in lr but was fine for us. Host communicated well and offered info to local grocery stores. Would def stay here again. I was just surprised it wasn’t a private home but that’s likely my fault for missing it if it said condo. Still well worth the stay! Thank you Gail.

Beautiful and peaceful location, with private access to Beach. Walking distance to great restaurants and a small market. Pool was wonderful. Security and neighbors were super friendly. Be cautious that It is on the 3rd floor - we asked our taxi driver and security to take up our suitcases - they were happy to do it. Would definitely go back. Gail, Biagio, Maria & Leo were super responsive and made this vacation one to remember. Pura Vida!!

The home is spacious and airy with lovely decor. The porch is a peaceful place to sit and listen to the sounds of the ocean and birds - while getting shade from the lush trees. The location of the home is excellent, just a minute to the beach (and another minute to an area clear of rocks so you can swim). It has fun waves to ride and a great spot for surfers. It’s also a mile to the busy town of tamarindo, which is full of bars, resteraunts and shops. The pool and surrounding area is peaceful with an outdoor shower so you can wash off. We had some unexpected issues with the air conditioning and the water but the host was quick to respond and work on resolving it. I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs as there are none in the home. Also it should be noted that there are 2 flights of steps to enter the house. My husband and I and 3 teenage boys had a great time here.
