The main level serves as the heart of the house, with an open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living room supported by eucalyptus hardwood columns. Floor-to-ceiling screened walls allow you to enjoy the surrounding nature while staying comfortable during tropical rains. Step onto the large deck to take in breathtaking sunsets and panoramic ocean vistas.
Fall asleep to the gentle sounds of waves from three nearby beaches and wake up to the calls of tropical birds and howler monkeys. The home blends rustic charm with modern amenities, including reliable solar power with backup and fiber optic Wi-Fi at 150 Mbps.

Location
Casa Cielo Azul is situated in the gated Balcones de Majagual community, known for its progressive and environmentally conscious atmosphere. The property offers easy access to nearby beaches and surfing spots, providing a perfect balance of adventure and tranquility.
The coastal highway near the community is currently undergoing construction. Although the work is not visible from the home, access routes may vary, and daytime machinery noise may be heard until early November. Your understanding is appreciated as improvements continue in the area.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire home and private pool. Parking is available within the secure gated community, which has 24-hour security.
Additional Information
- A four-wheel-drive vehicle is required for access; the house is not reachable by taxi or standard cars.
- The base rental rate covers up to four guests. Additional guests are charged $20 USD per person per night, automatically processed through Airbnb.

great place and great host- pool could do with a bit of tlc, the view is fantastic and as long as you don't mind a steep off road drive up it is well worth it - great maid service also.

This tree house is a total dream! Heads up you 100% need a 4x4 to access - we figured this was a simple precaution - but it's essential. Pro tip - maybe book a refundable one from a few rental car outlets - they sometimes run out of inventory. Once you get up there it's complete heaven (literally). Couldn't recommend this place more!

Tree house (casa cielo azul) is a beautiful big house with an amazing ocean view from the balcony. It is so open that one feels like he is sleeping, eating and showering outdoors. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house with a private double room with a separate entry under the main house. There are lots of stairs because the house is build on several floors along the side of the mountain. Might not be ideal for people struggling with stairs. The drive up to the house is steep and they require a 4x4. Several beautiful beaches within 15 min of the house (driving). One can also hike down the mountain to the beach through a trail. We absolutely loved our stay. It's a jungle experience (bugs and monkeys included).

There's nothing like waking up in the trees to a view of the ocean and the sound of howler monkeys! This house and its surroundings are absolutely incredible. We had an amazing vacation in SJDS and in Casa Cielo Azul. Highly recommended 👌

Your truly feel like you are living in a treehouse at this place! Beautiful tropical jungle surrounds you as you hear monkeys, tropical birds and view the ocean from all levels of the house. Part of the adventure is just getting to the house, but once inside the gate (the guards do an amazing job!!) and up the steep hills, you can easily unwind and relax at this location. Walking to the beach was a fun excursion and good workout. Juanita's kitchen and the whole playa are unique and FUN!

We loved everything about the place! It’s absolutely stunning and the surroundings are beyond gorgeous. Communication and the check-in were super smooth and the place was very well equipped (from shampoo to coffee machine to cozy lightening to an amazing wooden floor). We would 100% recommend staying here! See you on our next journey to Nicaragua and thank you so much for enabling travelers to experience such a unique place - in the middle of the jungle, blending in, surrounded by dense flora and listening to the monkeys howl.
