Black village. Great view to Arenal's Volcano. A/C

An excellent place to go to leave the stress, the sound of the river and nature is what we liked the most, and the place is very beautiful.! 100% recommended

Lovely villa, massage along river was so peaceful! Walk along river trail was so much fun with lots to see! Fabian was a wonderful host. We highly recommend and would stay here again!

Fabian was an excellent host and always responded quickly whenever we had a question. His place was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. Our favorite part was the balcony—it was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee, listen to the river, and relax while my son played his guitar. The peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future!

Fabian and this Airbnb was fantastic! The place itself and surrounding river was incredible! We had a massage which was setup by the host, with the water in the background, was a great start to our stay. Fabian helped setup all of our excursions and sent updates as needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

An incredible hidden gem! We loved our stay here. It is off the beaten path (a car is recommended), which offers amazing peace and quiet. Waking up with a stocked coffee bar on the deck while listening to howler monkeys and birds was unforgettable. On clear days, the volcano view is perfect. The property itself is beautiful, the beds are super comfy, and the A/C is nice and cold. Don't skip the hike down the stairs to the stream it’s absolutely worth it! If you are craving Indian food I would suggest the drive to Sunny’s. It was delicious and one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica.

Overall, very good stay at Arenal Deluxe Villas. There are 3 units on a nice property nestled between two more upscale properties. We were in the "Black Village" unit. Pro's: Fabian is a good communicator and can serve as your concierge. Responsive and friendly! Common area is beautiful and well thought out. Nearby river and spa are relaxing. We got massages and they were very good. We loved the little balcony where we enjoyed the PM rainstorms and views of the volcano. Unit is updated with some nice touches. Great shower. Very comfortable beds. Cons: not a lot to name, but unit is on the small side. We were only 4 nights w/ 2 adults + 2 teens and it was fine, but some may find it small for a longer stay and 4 adult-size folks. No hot water in kitchen sink, but that was no big deal. Overall, a very positive stay and good value. We would absolutely come stay again!
