The Space
Casa de Sueño is a beautifully renovated home featuring five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The property includes an outdoor shower, an open-concept kitchen, a spacious living area, a comfortable patio, a pool, and a gazebo. It comfortably accommodates 12 to 14 guests and is located just a short walk from the stunning Playa Guiones, as well as nearby shops and restaurants.
Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans, while the vaulted central living area has large ceiling fans for added comfort. The home is furnished with handcrafted hardwood pieces and includes stainless steel appliances. High-speed internet and a Samsung SMART TV with Netflix are also available.
The five bedrooms are divided between two buildings: the main house contains four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, and the casita offers one bedroom and one bathroom.
The main house features an intuitive open floor plan, with the kitchen overlooking the living area and the pool and patio. The large living room, TV lounge, patio, and gazebo are all furnished with new, comfortable furniture, providing ample space to unwind after a day spent surfing or at the beach.
Two master suites stand out in the main house, each with a king-sized bed and a newly updated private bathroom. The first master bedroom faces the pool and back patio, where guests can wake to the sounds of tropical birds and a lush garden. The second master suite is located off the TV lounge and offers complete privacy, separated by solid concrete walls.
The casita, situated just behind the main house, provides guests with a degree of privacy without feeling isolated. Completed in early 2021, it features 18-foot ceilings, a full kitchen, a queen-sized bed, a cozy couch, an indoor/outdoor bar and patio, and a large bathroom with an indoor/outdoor shower.
The combination of comfort in both buildings and the close proximity to town and the beach make Casa de Sueño an excellent choice for a relaxed and convenient vacation in Nosara.

Really loved the area. Easy walk to Bodhi Tree for yoga and into town for dinner. The house was clean and loved the minimalism. Wonderful all around!

Nice house in a great location. For the most part everything was perfect, with two exceptions: the washing machine leaked badly and they couldn't fix it, and it was right next to a very noisy construction site that was active starting at 6:45-7am every day we were there (even Sunday). To be fair, there is a lot of construction in the area, but this house is immediately next door and we woke up to hammering, sawing, drilling early each day and it was loud all day long. Otherwise the place was spacious, a quick walk to town and the beach, and very clean. So great place to stay, but beware of the noise when deciding.

Casa Sueño is beautiful, sits near the end of a dead-end road, connected by a footpath to the road that leads to the cut to the beach. The walk to the beach was conveniently short (about a quarter mile). The restaurants and shops are also within walking distance, but a little lengthier, maybe 20 minutes of walking along the beach. Maps of the area are deceptive - some roads are closed, some streets were more of a series of ponds (in June). The beach break nearest the home was good. With a large swell during our stay, it made for difficult paddling, since it's a bit more exposed and it is just a sandy bottom. We did drive out to other, nearby break. There is a lot of construction in the street leading to the home but it did not bother us. Home: Six adults were comfortable. It's an impressive building. Don't be discouraged by lack of AC in common areas - a few fans cool it off even in June, and the units worked well in the bedrooms.

The house is beautiful, pool very nice, landscaping is lovely. The concierge service is helpful. However(!) the washing machine did not work at all and that was a major inconvenience. We had traveled very lightly with kids through the rainforest and counted on using the washing machine advertised in the amenities. We had clothes that were mildewing and then couldn’t clean anything to wear for the rest of the trip. A few other house issues were addressed- but it took way too much communication- taking away from a relaxing vacation. Coming in high season, we obviously paid a lot. In my mind if someone is charging thousands of dollars a night, everything should be in working order and stress free. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the house (and casita), but beware of high investment of time and money.

Great house! Perfect for our family of 6. 5min walk to beach, surf board rental, and beach dog cafe. Hosts were extremely responsive and gave great tips for activities etc.
