The Space
Casa Nibbana is a single-story Spanish Colonial villa featuring four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Situated on two-thirds of an acre within the Reserva de Golf residential community at Hacienda Pinilla Resort in Guanacaste, the property offers a tropical landscaped setting.
The home includes a private saltwater pool, high wood-beamed ceilings, and Colombian terra-cotta floors. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is designed for culinary enthusiasts.
The master bedroom features a king-size canopy bed, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with double sinks. Three additional bedrooms each have private bathrooms and closets: one with a four-poster king-size bed and two with two queen-size beds each. Three bathrooms showcase Talavera local handmade tiles, while the fourth offers a modern open shower design for a spa-like experience.
The spacious covered terrace is fully furnished for outdoor living and dining. It opens to the private pool and a pergola equipped with a gas grill, table, and seating. Throughout the villa, tasteful art and antiques complement the décor.
Casa Nibbana provides all the comforts expected for a relaxing stay, including linens, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, and toys for children. Guests also have access to three hybrid bikes for exploring the area.
The back covered terrace serves as a peaceful retreat for morning coffee or evening drinks, featuring a full-sized dining table and two seating areas overlooking the pool and backyard oasis. The natural surroundings include sounds of the ocean, howler monkeys, and sightings of native birds and butterflies.

Casa Nibbana is located within Hacienda Pinilla, a gated community with a private, manned entrance. The resort spans 4,500 acres along over three miles of pristine beach, forest, and jungle in Northwestern Guanacaste.
The villa is just a 3 to 6-minute drive from Hacienda Pinilla’s amenities, including the Beach Club, multiple swimming and surfing beaches, the golf course, and the JW Marriott hotel. All access is via private roads with guest parking available inside the development.

House is in need of a lot of maintenance and a deep cleaning. Not suitable for kids. Many exposed wires and unprotected outlets throughout. Air conditioning does not work in central part of house. Upon advising host of this, I was tasked with checking the breaker outside. Opted not to touch as all wires exposed to the elements. Very musty smelling throughout home. Does not appear to have been cleaned. Dirty throughout. Dirty towels, no soap or bath products in dispensers. Host was very accomodating with a last minute request and with an additional request for an extra few days. Other than that, needs improvement. This place was probably great when it was first built, but has been seriously neglected. Needs an overhaul and safety issues should be fixed immediately.

Muy linda casa, con todas las facilidades publicadas. El check-in fue complicado, por problemas de comunicación con los oficiales de seguridad, pero una vez resuelto todo transcurrió muy bien. Muy buen acceso a las diferentes playas y acceso al beach club de avellanas por $10 por persona, lo cual es muy importante. Definitivamente volvería a esta casa.

The house is absolutely incredible. Tucked away in a private community, you have access to an incredible beach as well as a beach club and hotel. You're also a short drive to Tamarindo and everything else that Costa Rica has to offer. We loved the pool and the full kitchen so we could cook when we wanted as well. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Georgina es una excelente anfitriona siempre atenta y muy colaboradora. La casa es hermosa y tiene una excelente ubicación, desafortunadamente está muy descuidada en general. Deberían preocuparse ya que la relación precio oferta no es equivalente a lo que uno se encuentra.
