Every bedroom has its own private bathroom. The space Tuani Lodge consists of a spacious 3 story structure with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms home. Additionally there are three detached two story bungalows each with a bathroom and 4 beds. Every bedroom and bungalow has its own private bathroom. Renters can choose whether they want to sleep in a bungalow or a private bedroom. The estate lies on the hillside just above the Rio murcialago River bed. Our unique secluded location is close enough to the ocean to hear the crashing waves when they are big in the rainy season. the river is typically dry until the heavy rains arrive in June and October. The river leads directly to the consistent and reliable waves at Panga Drops. The forest hiking trail follows the path of the river to the beach and will be a great hike for seeing all the flora and fauna that exists in the zone. Other things to note This is a shared homestay. Renters bedroom and bathroom are private, but if they're other renters in the other bungalows then they will have access to the kitchen, patio and barbecue areas.

## The Space

Tuani Lodge is nestled in the jungle near the beach, offering an authentic Nicaraguan retreat. It is within walking distance of Playa Colorado, one of the most secluded and peaceful beaches in the area. Guests can enjoy the unique experience of staying close to nature, waking up to the calls of howler monkeys while having all the comforts of home.

The lodge features a spacious three-story main house with a kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. In addition, there are three detached two-story bungalows, each equipped with a private bathroom and four beds. Every bedroom, whether in the main house or a bungalow, includes its own private bathroom. Guests can choose to stay in either a bungalow or a private bedroom.

The property is situated on a hillside overlooking the Río Murciélago riverbed. Although the river is usually dry, it fills during the heavy rains in June and October. The river flows directly to the reliable surf breaks at Panga Drops.

## Location

Tuani Lodge’s secluded setting is close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing during the rainy season. A forest hiking trail runs alongside the riverbed, leading to the beach. This trail offers an excellent opportunity to observe the local flora and fauna.

Great stay, very worth the price and great host, just a bit far of a walk from the beach, around 25 min

We had a lovely night and morning at Renee's place.   For an eco-lodge it's all you can want.  Everything was clean.  We had enough power to get through the night with a fan but honestly we didn't need one.  The air temperature, humity and breeze is absolutely perfect, to die for.  We just sat there on the rocking chairs on the deck listening to the howler monkeys, looking at the glow of the full moon until we dozed off and went to bed.  It was therapy.  We did the same in the morning.  The bathroom is large and clean.   For the price,  we couldn't have had a better experience.  We came up from Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica and had an experience that surpassed expectations.    It's remote, private and delightful.     It's a bit tricky to find but Maria Renee is very responsive and helpful.   Thanks again Maria Renee.   We hope to return.

There were two of us there and we were extremely satisfied! There was nothing to complain about in our room and the main house was very cozily furnished, where you had numerous great seating inside and outside. Cooking there was also fun in the kitchen. And while eating outside on the terrace, we were able to watch many animals such as howler monkeys, squirrels and various birds. On the last day, a Guardabarranco even sat down with us! Tilson, who lives there with his wife and daughter, was always friendly and helpful.

Wir waren zu zweit dort und äußerst zufrieden! An unserem Zimmer gab es nichts zu beanstanden und das Haupthaus war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, wo man innen wie außen zahlreiche tolle Sitzgelegenheiten hatte. Das Kochen hat dort in der Küche auch Spaß gemacht. Und beim Essen draußen auf der Terrasse haben wir viele Tiere beobachten können wie Brüllaffen, Eichhörnchen und diverse Vögel. Am letzten Tag hat sich sogar ein Guardabarranco zu uns gesetzt! Tilson, der dort angestellt mit seiner Frau und Tochter wohnt, war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.

A very nice place just outside of hacienda iguana. Beach access on foot (20min walk). Contact with Maria was easy and efficient. Tilsen, on site was welcoming and helpful! I would be back!

Had a great stay at Maria Renee’s. Big, clean casita. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the walk through the bush everyday to the ocean.

The accommodation is nice, good for disconnecting and everything you need to be, there are very nice beaches nearby. It has access to several places within walking distance to buy basic things. If I liked the experience, I would stay again.

Beautiful spot! Enjoyed the hammock at night looking at the stars. Nice breeze circulates the house. Perfect for someone who wants an off the grid experience.

I stayed at Tuani Lodge a few years ago, so I already knew the place. It is still a lovely eco option in the area, and it presents good value for money. But it is a little bare bones these days, and there isn't really much there anymore, but for us, that we were looking for a clean, basic place to spend the night after working in the area, it was perfect. Don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed :)
