A little piece of heaven with lots of wild life on land and sea… we had a fantastic stay at the house. We had the visit of monkeys every other day, a horse everyday, iguanas, raccoons, cats! In front of the house we saw octopus, manta ray, multicolor fishes, amazing shells.. The house was cleaned daily and we fell very safe. The only warning I have is that there are 3 different houses (buildings) as mentioned in the description so if you are traveling with young children and want to enjoy the master bedroom it gets complicated unless you bring baby monitors and or walkie talkies :-) and are prepared to sleep far from your children or have them with you in the master. This is ideal for groups with multiple families- you’ll have each your own space and a common area to meet. We loved Casa Kalafken! Thank you!

Magical is the word I would use for the location of the property. Beachfront, almost private beach, outdoor living space, lots of animals and amazing sunsets. The daily housekeeper and yard/maintenance were a blessing. Had a massage on site from Bialca for myself, granddaughter and daughter. She is amazing. Special shout out to: Erik yard/maintenance Erika housekeeper Gabby housekeeper Felicitas manager They were all the very best. We felt safe and cared for. We will be back

La locación frente al mar es simplemente incomparable. Los edificios, habitaciones y el salón principal están rodeados de una exuberante naturaleza, con árboles donde incluso llegan los monos a visitar. La piscina estuvo deliciosa y desde ella se podía disfrutar de un atardecer espectacular. El lugar está muy bien ubicado, con supermercados y restaurantes a tan solo 5-10 minutos en carro. Las habitaciones son limpias, cómodas y están distribuidas en edificios separados. El edificio central cuenta con comedor, cocina y piscina, siendo el punto de encuentro ideal. Hay muchísima flora y fauna alrededor, lo que hace la experiencia aún más especial. Solo hay que tener cuidado con los mapaches curiosos que llegan a ver qué comida pueden robar. Viajamos con dos adultos mayores y un niño, y todos pasamos unas vacaciones maravillosas. Sin duda, un lugar que recomendaría y al que volveríamos encantados.

Kalafken is a stunning beachfront property with an incredible pool and unbeatable location — right in front of a magical tide pool and just a short walk to Blue Mist for amazing food. The setting is peaceful, the vibes are perfect, and Hermosa surf is just minutes away. Every detail of the property is thoughtfully designed, making it the ideal spot to relax and explore Santa Teresa. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a five-star experience.

AMAZING! This place is beyond beautiful. The property is truly one of a kind. The level of service we received was absolutely above expectations. Felicitas greeted us when we arrived at the property, created a group chat, was always available for questions, and made sure we were accommodated in every way. There was a cleaning lady and maintenance man who kindly greeted us every morning. Felicitas facilitated all of our activities and excursions. Santa Teresa is a cute little town full of restaurants and bars to enjoy your time at. We shared the property with a family of monkeys, a raccoon, and some iguanas. Overall, our week was amazing and we can't wait to book again!

We stayed for five nights and the place was better than expected! Felicitas was extremely helpful well before we arrived, completely proactive while we were there, and even after was awesome providing advice to the airport. She was the best host we’ve ever had and the place is enormous (2 to 3 families could stay) and in the middle of a jungle / ocean paradise. If you surf, Hermosa is walkable (15 minutes on the beach) and really consistent, and there’s natural ocean pools for swimming 1 minute walk. Overall, I highly recommend if you want proximity to Santa Teresa (10-15 min drive over dirt roads), stellar oceanfront accommodations away from the fray, and your own gorgeous playground.

Amazing property, great beach access…better than described. Felicitas was a great host, super responsive, helped us book shuttles and ATV’s. Would 100% recommend.
