A lovely and peaceful location. The house and property were immaculately maintained. We enjoyed the private trails and the overlook. We were even fortunate enough to see a sloth with a baby in a nearby tree! There are many interesting things to see and do around the area. We enjoyed zip lining and tubing on the Rio Celeste through Rio Celeste Adventuras in Katira. The hosts are very good at communicating and there were no difficulties at all. We would love to return to stay again and do more!

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The walking trails around the property take you right through the jungle and offer an excellent sunset view. The wildlife around is great. We saw four toucans! The lodging was excellent. Very comfy, clean, and accommodating. Kitchen is just right for whatever you need. Great coffee and a lovely porch to sit and enjoy the weather and nature. This is a gorgeous spot to stay. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining the jungle environment and cultivating a beautiful space. We loved the sounds of the jungle around us. The hosts were so helpful, providing information on nearby activities, contact info, etc.

Beautiful listing tucked safely up away from the main road in a nice nature setting. Clean unit, with a few small trails to explore the property. Prompt and hospitable host made my stay easy, and location has convenient access to Rio Celeste. Thanks for a great stay!

It’s named birds paradise for a reason!!! Saw so many different birds including toucans!!! Also saw a ton of howler monkeys. Loved the place! My only advice is to shower during the day when you are hot because the shower water doesn’t get warm. It is near a volcano so maybe you have to run the water for a long time... might wanna ask the hosts :)
