Live in this 2 bdrm modern home within a small and safe gated community, featuring its own, private salt-water pool. Hike and explore the area, work remotely using the high-speed internet, cook gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen - Casa Esmeralda is the perfect house, as there is something for everyone! The space Casa Esmeralda is a modern home in Tamarindo it is behind and parallel to the main road where everything is; restaurants, shops, beach and more. This beautiful house is set in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle in a gated area for added security with neighbours nearby. It is only 2km away from the centre of Tamarindo! This home is tastefully decorated and has 2 spacious bedrooms. The master ensuite has a king bed with its own full bathroom and direct access and view of the urban garden. The 2nd bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with a working space for those remote workers. The open living space is bright and inviting, with a modern kitchen fully equipped for those chefs of the group, a functional dining space and an inviting living room which houses electric recliner chairs and smart TV. Furthermore, fiberoptic internet makes this property the perfect place for remote workers. The backyard of this property is an extended living space perfect for families and friends, it is fully fenced for privacy. The patio area has seating areas and additional dining, equipped with a BBQ set for those that love to grill. There is a covered seating area for those who want to simply hang out with the group or for those who want some alone time reading a book or catching up on work. And finally, enjoy the refreshing saltwater pool perfect for those hot days under the Costa Rican sun. The owners have also equipped this property with all the beach necessities including beach towels, chairs, cooler, umbrella, traveller mugs for your convenience in mind. The kitchen is also well equipped including your basics: salt, pepper, oil and spices. There is also 2 foldable twin cots that are available to sleep an additional 2 guests. Guest access You will have access to the whole property, although there are areas that are locked for storage purposes. Other things to note Please keep in mind that if the key or remote control are lost, there will be a charge. If a key is lost, it will be a $5 charge each and if the remote is lost, there will be a $300 charge. We encourage guests to leave the remote and keys whenever they leave the property in the lockbox outside of the gate to prevent the possibility of losing these. On occasion during drought season the area experiences scheduled water conservation periods, where guests may experience some water shortage and in severe circumstances unannounced water shut offs. If, however, you feel it is out of the ordinary, please let us know so that we can assess it. Please note a maintenance person will be there regularly to maintain the grounds and the pool to keep it beautiful for you. Finally, you are in the middle of the jungle, thus certain network carriers may not work, so please plan accordingly. And, last note: for 2 weeks or less stays, you have access to basic cleaning aids. For more than 2 weeks we recommend a house cleaning at your cost, for 3 weeks or more, we require a house cleaning every 2 weeks or more at your cost.
