Casa Palo Santo— we have a new listing!

Great Villa with an amazing host. Not only was she responsive, but she also helped us with rentals and guided us when we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The view is worth it all !

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Marianne’s home with our children and parents, and we all agreed it was the best Airbnb we’ve ever experienced. The photos are beautiful, but they truly don’t capture how breathtaking the property feels in person. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and perfectly maintained everything was. The home struck the perfect balance of luxury and comfort—it felt serene, welcoming, and incredibly special. With such easy access to the beach, we felt like we had the best of both worlds: peaceful privacy at the house and the ocean just a short drive/walk away. There was honestly no need to go anywhere else; we could have happily spent our entire trip enjoying the home alone. Our kids absolutely loved the pool, and it became a highlight of each day. Every detail of our stay felt seamless and intentional, making it the perfect setting for a meaningful family vacation with three generations together.

We had a great time at Marianne‘s Place. The House is really nice with a great view of the ocean and nicely decorated. Also it’s quite private. It is though up the hill so a bit outside of the city center. Marianne was really nice and responsive and helped out with local recommendations for Yoga which we enjoyed very much.

What a beautiful home- this place was an authentic luxury Costa Rican rental! The view was the best we had on our trip, the pool was wonderful. You are surrounded by nature and sometimes that nature wakes you up at 5am (Howler monkeys right outside our bedroom the first morning) at first terrifying, but after we realized what it was, pretty awesome. Marianne was wonderful- beginning to end. The grounds were beautifully kept and our place was cleaned daily. The AC in the bedrooms and the comfy beds were ideal for a good night sleep, but we kept windows and doors open in the main living area during the day- which allowed us to really enjoy the natural surroundings. Highly recommend!

My family of 5 (me, wife, kids ages 17, 14, 9) had a wonderful 3-day stay. Marianne and her husband Rob were super helpful and set up surfing lessons for us. Rob also gave us a tour of the grounds and pointed out a howler monkey in a tree. The place is amazing and the kids had a blast in the pool! We would definitely recommend and hope to go back someday!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Casa Palo Santo. Marianne et Rob nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et nous ont donné de bons conseils durant notre séjour. La maison est très pratique, conforme en tous points à la description avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan.

Marianne and Rob are amazing. The house is clean and very well kept. The furnishing and kitchen items are nice good quality. The view is super awesome. The pool was perfect and super clean. Best part for me was their dog Pixi who visited often and was so sweet and loving. Marianne communicated with us a lot and is very solicitous of her guests. Amazing people!

I cannot say enough. This is a magical property with one of the best views you may ever see! The house is incredibly unique and artistic. It has every amenity you could want, and an unbelievable pool! The hosts were amazing and made our stay so wonderful! Santa Teresa is the perfect vacation spot, it feels like the end of the world!! Definitely recommend, and definitely going back!!! Rent this house you will not regret it!!

Beautiful house, pool and surroundings. Marianne was very helpful and easy to reach, she helped us plan some of the activities we did. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The cleaning lady came everyday same as the gardener.

This home was by far the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The property was immaculately maintained, and the view of the ocean is unforgettable. Driving to the gate was a bit of an adventure since the unpaved roads in Santa Teresa can be challenging to navigate. But once you get to the stone section of Calle Jaguar, the rest of the ride to the house is easy. Our hosts were very friendly and attentive. Would love to stay at Rob and Marianne’s again!
