The Space
This colonial-style villa is situated just four blocks from downtown La Fortuna. It offers four bedrooms, each equipped with an air conditioning unit, and three and a half bathrooms. The villa includes a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi with 100 Mbps upload and download speeds, a smart TV, and an open living room that opens onto a balcony overlooking the pool and provides stunning views of the volcano. Additional amenities include a laundry area with a washer and dryer, a safety deposit box, private parking, and cable TV.
The house features an open layout with all rooms facing the pool and garden areas. The living room seamlessly connects to the pool area without walls, allowing for a cooler and more refreshing atmosphere. This design reflects the colonial homes built between 1820 and 1920, primarily found in the lowlands of Guanacaste province. The owners, originally from Guanacaste, recreated this style while incorporating modern hotel-like amenities.
The villa is spacious, comfortable, private, and secluded, yet conveniently located only four blocks from the central park.

Tuvimos varios contratiempos para tener una estadía extraordinaria. En un momento dado se nos fue el agua y no contaban con cisterna. También estuvimos sin energía eléctrica alrededor de dos horas que tomó parte del tiempo en la oscuridad y no contaban con generador. Por otro lado no pudimos disfrutarnos de la piscina, debido a que estuvo lloviendo prácticamente en toda nuestra estadía. Siendo responsable con mi publicación, creo que al al alojamiento le hace falta un poco más de cariño. (limpieza en el patio, gabinetes, abanicos, etc.) pues, soy paciente asmática me acompañaban adultos mayores de 80 años.

Our group of 8 had an amazing stay here! The open air concept was so fresh and unique. We loved seeing a random lizard and gecko around the house. The pool was very refreshing and walking to the shops and coffee was great. We had the private chef from nativo chef come and they were such a treat! Absolutely recommend! Great communication and super friendly host!

Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, including giving us tons of great restaurant recommendations within walking distance that was all spot-on. The place had a gorgeous view and the house was so comfortable and unique. we highly recommend this house. I would stay there again next time we are in La Fortuna.

The house is exactly as it shows in the pictures. The open living room and kitchen into the backyard made it easy to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. There is plenty of space to hang out. The laundry access was a huge plus. Located near so many neat shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Villa Tucan은 우리 일행에게 코스타리카의 작은 행복이었습니다! 모든 것이 다 좋았습니다. 빈틈 없이 준비된 비치품과 주방기구들, 에어컨, 수영장 등 완벽했습니다. La Fortuna에서 이상기온으로 폭우가 쏟아졌어도 우리 일행이 묵는데는 아무 지장이 없었고, 오픈된 공용공간에서도 비를 맞지 않고 취사 및 식사를 즐길 수 있었습니다. 강력히 추천하는 숙소입니다!

Wow! What else can you say when there is a pool inside of your house?? Great location and walkable to the city center. Just an FYI for those who may not fancy this, but you cannot flush paper down the toilet and please understand this is an open air concept, so there will be birds and bugs that may pay you a visit. Still, there is no other place like this around and worth the stay! If we're ever back in the area, will definitely book again.
