Airbnb Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10! We had such a lovely stay at this home. The location was absolutely beautiful, sitting on top of a hill with an incredible view of the lake below. The house was surrounded by trees, which gave the property such a peaceful, jungle-like feel. One of my favorite moments was experiencing a thunderstorm at night. With the view, the trees, and the sound of the rain, it felt truly magical. The pool was perfect for both the kids and adults to enjoy, and every bedroom had a breathtaking view of its own. The house was well kept, clean, and comfortable, and we especially loved being able to pick up some of the fresh mangos that fell from the mango tree on the property. There was also a small town nearby where we could easily grab pupusas and pick up essentials at the market, which was very convenient. But what truly made our stay special was the incredible hospitality from Ruth and Jaime. They were so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire stay.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. We only stayed for one night, but it quickly became one of those places you wish you didn’t have to leave. The home is absolutely beautiful, and the views are beyond breathtaking. As beautiful as the listing photos are, they truly don’t capture how incredible it feels to be there in person. Waking up and taking in the scenery was something our family won’t forget. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, making the house feel warm and cozy from the moment we walked in. It felt less like a rental and more like a home. We also want to sincerely thank the two house staff for their kindness and hospitality. They were so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made us feel cared for during our stay. It was an amazing time. This place was beautiful and the view was great. The host had great communication and was very helpful. The place was super clean and we had a great time in the pool ass well. It's a perfect place to rest as a family. The host thought of everything you need for a vacation. He left us a blender and even a medicine kit. It's a beautiful vacation house. Yes, I recommend bringing food since there are no stores nearby, but there are several restaurant options 10 minutes away.

Our stay at the lake house was absolutely wonderful. The property was beautiful, and the views of the lake were breathtaking. It was so peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by nature and wildlife, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. What made the experience even better was the incredible staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their exceptional service truly made our stay memorable. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, and it's so peaceful there. I'd totally come back for a family weekend. Just a heads-up if you're planning to visit: keep the doors and windows shut. We were in the pool all night with the doors open, and when we came back in, we found a ton of mosquitoes drawn to the warmth and lights. Also, in the middle of the night, two gorgeous dogs, probably from a neighbor, came to visit. They weren't aggressive at all; they were just looking for food. We fed them, and they hung out with us while we were at the outdoor dining table. That was super cute. But if you bring your pet, be careful at night when you're walking around the property because they might run into each other unexpectedly and scare your pet. Thank you very much. The views were immaculate, the pool and pool area was really disappointing as it was unkept. Our group walked in, noticed the pool unkept area then later that not all rooms had fans and we immediately walked back out. I MISSED THE REVIEWS STATING NO ACs. Therefore please keep in mind there are absolutely no ACs. And not every room had a fan, especially the one room with 3 beds, it had no fan! We felt uneasy, and decided not to spend the night.

The room with three beds has a ceiling fan that is activated by a control located on the nightstand. This fan has a design where the blades are hidden around the ceiling light when it's off, so they may not have realized it was installed in the room. In addition, our team performs daily maintenance of the pool and outdoor areas to keep the facilities in optimal condition. During your stay, we did not receive any reports related to cleaning, maintenance, or an early departure, so we did not have the opportunity to address your concerns. It should be noted that, during the last year, we have not received similar comments about the condition of the pool or the facilities. We always recommend our guests contact us during their stay so that we can provide immediate assistance and ensure the best possible experience.

The place is very nice. Everything is excellent. Just one recommendation: if you go at night, the road is a bit confusing, but otherwise everything is perfect.

This place takes my breath away! I stayed with my family and we really had a great time. The place is a gem, quiet but full of life with all kinds of birds and local wild life surrounding it. The pool was pristine and the house impeccably clean! Their beds are comfy and the sheets and towels are great quality.

This house is literally like a dream. Everything is so beautiful: the views, the weather, the tranquility... from the moment you arrive, you feel an incredible peace. Every corner has something special and makes the experience perfect. It's definitely one of the most beautiful places I've stayed at, and I would definitely come back a thousand times more.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The views were absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and the Airbnb itself was super clean and well kept. The pool was the perfect temperature during our stay at the beginning of May, and it made the whole experience feel really relaxing. There was no AC, so it did get pretty warm at times, but the fans definitely helped and made it manageable. Overall, it was such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay and we would definitely come back!

This place is even more gorgeous than the pictures. The staff on site is incredibly gracious and helpful. We were there in April and the pool was warm enough to swim in (was chilly but fine for my girls to swim in). The weather was cool in the morning and evenings. There is no AC and while it was ok for our trip at this time of year - I can see this being a huge problem in a month or so and definitely in summer. We moved a large fan into room and it was sufficient but we like our rooms cold -and I would say it was never cold inside. The view is spectacular and such happiness and peaceful came just from sitting there and taking it all in.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending Easter week at this stunning house, and it exceeded every expectation we had. The highlight of this Airbnb is definitely the stunning view of Lake Coatepeque—it’s absolutely beautiful and made our stay feel extra special. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a relaxing getaway. It was also very family-friendly, which made it a great fit for our trip. We were able to enjoy the space and feel at ease throughout our stay. There were quite a few mosquitos, but we were able to manage them and it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the incredible lake views!

Our stay at Raul's beautiful home was fantastic, we are already planning to come back asap! As many others here have said, even the beautiful pictures just cant do this location justice, it is absolutely magnificent! Ruth and Jamie (cleaner and gardener) were lovely and always made sure everything was sparkling and we had everything we needed. Some people have complained about the lack of air conditioning, but we never once wished for this. The evenings are wonderfully cool, and the day time heats up just enough to enjoy some sun by the pool before cooling back off again in the afternoon. The house itself is just as cool as the location. The panoramic views of the lake from every room never gets old! We even had the pleasure of seeing an Armadillo wandering around right outside the glass doors one evening, so damn cool! Raul was always available for any questions, and was a pleasure to speak with. I cant recommend this place enough, book it now!

What a treat it was to have been able to spend time at this beautiful property.  A really lovely place to connect with El Salvador's nature; the landscape views are nothing short of miraculous, the sunrise was incredible. The water filter for drinking water was a major plus.

This home is a hidden gem, I love the creativity of the home and how comfortable it is.  Only thing I would add is screens for the doors because there were a lot of insects this time.  Definitely would book again.

A quiet and peaceful place to rest. Like being at home. Waze takes you to the door. Rustic street approximately 2 km from the turnoff. In the dry season, no problem. Ruth received us very kindly, very attentive to what we needed. Service 10/10. Cleanliness 10 The form sent for check-in collected sensitive information, and in the end I was unable to send it. I would recommend air conditioning for hot months, because even in January the afternoon/evening felt very hot. The pool has a risk of falling when entering and exiting, as it has no handrails. Not suitable for people with low mobility. I would also recommend putting teak or other material on the shore, since when you get out wet, you stand directly on the grass/mud and that goes into the pool. The water was incredibly cold, even in the sun. Finally, the shower seemed to have a very low water flow. Otherwise, I would definitely come back. Very beautiful view of the lake, enough to accommodate 10 adults I would say, no problem.

Nos recibió Ruth muy amablemente, muy pendiente de lo que necesitábamos. Trato 10/10. Limpieza 10 El formulario enviado para check in, reunía información sensible, y finalmente no me fue posible enviarlo. Recomendaría aire acondicionado para meses de calor, pues aún en enero se sintió muy calurosa la tarde/noche. La piscina tiene riesgo de caída al entrar y salir, ya que no tiene pasamanos. No apta para personas con poca movilidad. Además recomendaría poner teka u otro material a la orilla, ya que al salir mojados, te paras directamente en la grama/lodo y eso se va a la piscina. El agua estaba increíblemente fría, aún bajo el sol. Finalmente la ducha me pareció muy escasa la salida de agua. Por lo demás, volvería sin duda. Muy hermosa vista del lago, suficiente para alojar 10 adultos diría yo, sin problema.

It was a wonderful experience. After our stay it left me and my family wanting to go back. Gorgeous view of the lake, and the sunrise and sunset were spectacular. I recommend this place as it will be worth it.

This home is completely modern and a beautiful home away from home. Great space for a family or group of friends. Home is also located a 8-10 minute drive from lake front restaurant and about an hour or less from activities like volcano Santa Ana, cerro verde and some waterfalls. The views from this property is 1000/10 even better than the photos in person. Definitely a great place to stay.

Raul’s location was very spot on very beautiful place view was spectacular. I wish we could check in earlier. That’s the only downfall.

This place was so beautiful, the views were incredible. I’m sad it was so cold and windy so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool but it was still very clean and the outdoor area was so pretty. 10/10 it’s also very close to restaurants and accessible. I saw some people post that the road to the Airbnb was rough but my family had a little car and we had a pick up and we had no issues. The place was also not hard to find.

This place was a 10/10 we had an amazing time. The pool was amazing and with a view too. The place was clean when we got there. There were many towels and blankets. Honestly you dont need AC it was super comfortable and the breeze up there was amazing. We all fell in love with the view. And the staff were so sweet, very welcoming and helpful. Amazing place for our time at Lago Coatepeque! My family loved the area and the view was just as pictured. The entire house was really clean and just the aspect of having windows and the sun shining into the house gave it such a cozy feel. We would especially like to thank the workers there. Jaime and Ruth are incredible people who helped us out with so much from recommendations, to helping us find a mechanic for an issue with our rental, to helping with laundry, and finding bread and eggs for next morning, and more! We can go on about their service and to the owner of this property please give Ruth and Jaime our thanks again. They made the experience incredible and we have never had such incredible people at an Airbnb or even a hotel. We loved our stay and we will definitely come back due to the location, peace, amenities, and for the hospitality of Jaime and Ruth!

Simply spectacular! The photos of Raul's home do not do the beauty of this location justice. The view of Lago de Cotapeque absolutely stunning in person. We loved waking up to the sun rise over the mountains each morning. The home itself beautiful, with the exterior reflecting its gorgeous surroundings. The house is well appointed, with all the amenities needed for a four day stay. Raul's team was super responsive to our questions and inquiries. The location is in the mountains so good to be prepared accordingly. You will travel up a steep dirt road to the house, so come with an SVU if possible. Bug spray is also helpful for longer sits by the pool. We loved our stay and will be back!

Our stay was excellent. The house is very nice and has a breathtaking view of Lake Coatepeque. Raúl was super transparent from the beginning, with clear recommendations and precise directions that made the experience much easier and allowed us to enjoy the stay without any setbacks. The house has three bedrooms and an average of seven beds. Each room has its own bathroom with hot water. The pool has a spectacular view of the lake; as Raúl previously indicated, it is not heated and the water is quite cold, ideal for those who enjoy that type of experience. We recommend booking at least two nights to really take advantage of the place. In addition, the person who helps in the house is extremely friendly, proactive and helpful. A great tip. 10 out of 10.

Raúl fue súper transparente desde el inicio, con recomendaciones claras e indicaciones precisas que facilitaron mucho la experiencia y nos permitieron disfrutar la estancia sin contratiempos. La casa cuenta con tres habitaciones y un promedio de siete camas. Cada habitación tiene su propio baño con agua caliente. La piscina tiene una vista espectacular al lago; tal como Raúl lo indicó previamente, no está climatizada y el agua es bastante fría, ideal para quienes disfrutan ese tipo de experiencia. Recomendamos reservar mínimo dos noches para aprovechar realmente el lugar. Además, la persona que apoya en la casa es sumamente amable, proactiva y servicial. Un tipazo. 10 de 10.

The view of the lake was unreal!!!  The house was clean and very comfy.  I was here with my friends and they had a blast.  Bring food so that you can cooks and have snacks at home.  There was also a delivery service that brought food to our door.  Not a lot of options but it was very convenient

Even though we had only stayed one night, it was still a beautiful experience being at the house. It was a great location over seeing the lake with great views. Would definitely stay again if I ever come back.

This place gives you real peace. The view is wide and calm. You see the lake from every angle. The outdoor space feels private and open at the same time. The pool area is clean and the water stays clear. The house stays cool and comfortable. The furniture feels solid and the beds feel good after a long day out. The host keeps the place in good shape. Check in is easy. The kitchen has what you need for simple meals. The dining area outside works well for groups. You wake up to quiet mornings and finish the day with cool air and open sky. You should stay here if you want space, clean air, and a view you will talk about later. The photos I posted show what you can expect.

This Place is amazing, is just like the pictures. Even better when the sunset turns the lake Purple and Gold. It was tranquil and clean. The modern architecture was so nice and refreshing. This place is romantic but also Family Oriented if you wanted to. The Privacy is so good. The beach style pool is very nice as well and the local Host Jaime and Ruth made us feel safe and welcome. You definitely need a car to come here, or a plus size uber, but there is no downsize to that, just planning ahead. Raul was very responsive every time I message, we even forgot some expensive shoes, and they manage to ship them to us. We will definitely come back here. Also, if you work remote, this place is ideal, the Wi-Fi was great, and there are many chairs, sofas and spaces you can work and have a different setting or view of the lake.

The hosts as well as the caretakers on the property, Jaime and Ruth, were absolutely wonderful and attentive. Thank you again, Jaime and Ruth, for being so helpful and welcoming, we will miss your company. We can’t wait to visit again. Just to note, I would recommend bringing your own wash cloths (ex: for makeup removal) and beach towels to avoid any fees from staining the towels provided at the property. We had no issues, though! I have dyed hair, so I went to a store not far from the property and purchased a few inexpensive towels to use while I was there. I will definitely book this property again in the future.

Happy to stay in this amazing villa, enough space for my entire family, host representative was amazing in the morning, coffee was great we brought many bags home. Would love to stay again to enjoy the private and unique views of lago de coatepeque.

We had a very nice weekend with the family in a very nice place. We liked everything, the house, the weather, the view, etc. We would definitely go back to this place. I recommend it

Beautiful place, better yet, breathtaking. From the outside, you wouldnt be able to know the amazing view of this place. Definitely i will come back to this place. 10/10 worth every penny.

The place is beautiful with incredible views, the staff are very attentive and professional, the rooms are very clean as well as the bathrooms and the green area is very well maintained, we appreciate the availability of board games for large groups (we had a good time with my friends); However, I had the impression of a larger space. As an opportunity for improvement, I would only add more accessible outlets. Consider that there are mosquitoes and insects, possibly in the mountains.

El lugar está precioso con vistas increíbles, el personal muy atento y profesional, las habitaciones muy limpias al igual que los baños y zona verde muy cuidadas, se agradece la disposición de juegos de mesas para grupos grandes (la pasamos bien con mis amigos); sin embargo tenía la impresión de un espacio más amplio. En oportunidad de mejora solo agregaría toma corrientes más accesibles. Considerar que hay presencia de mosquitos en insectos eventualmente es la montaña.

A modern construction with rustic touches and spectacular outdoor spaces. It had a terrace, a private pool that invited you to take a dip. Everything in harmony with tropical gardens that complemented the lake's aesthetics.

Una construcción moderna con toques rústicos y espacios exteriores espectaculares. Contaba con terraza, piscina  privada que invitaba a un chapuzón . Todo en armonía con jardines tropicales que complementaban la estética del lago.
