Everything was great! This was a beautiful home, with great staff on site. Keep in mind this is a beachfront home, on a secluded island, the five star is the total package and experience. If you want to nit-pick you could find something but we were very pleased, and can’t wait to come back. Try not to arrive at night the first time, I promise, just plan accordingly! It’s a dark, dirt road, and the addresses are not like in the states. if your gps or internet drops. Another tip- hot water is first on the dial, turn just a little for hot water, and the smaller single room has the partial beach view. The other room have amazing pool views Also get groceries and everything before you reach the out. It’s 15 mins to get back to Paritta off the island. Also the “3 island dogs” are friendly, and they will walk up to you for a pet, and show you around the waters but will alao mosey along if you shoo them away. We bought groceries and Lucy cooked dinner, it was amazing!! Thanks Luis!

This is a beautiful private property located on Palo Seco beach. The last part of the road was your typical tico road, but well worth the drive. The pool is amazing, the house is large and well equipped and the couple who look after the place Lucy and Luis are wonderful, you can watch the sunset every night on the beach and there are hammocks and chairs to sit at the beach. It was a magical vacation

Location and property can't be beat. Outdoors of the property is magnificent and the pool is large, warm, and gorgeous with a grill nearby. The beach is a black sand beach but is still very beautiful and super private, with three hammocks put up most mornings for us. The housekeeper and groundskeeper were wonderful and always available to help with any issue. It was nice to have the option to have the housekeeper come every day for cleaning! The upstairs bedrooms can use a little bit of renovating - doors are old and make a lot of noise and the bathrooms look older in person than they do in the pictures. Jacuzzi was not working. I expected a lot of bugs as par for the course in this location, however one of the bedrooms had constant tiny bugs crawling all over the bed- I think something should be done about the insulation in that room to help with the bug problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, however our first night was marred by blasting music from a party at the resort/lodge next door that lasted till 2:00 a.m. Maria said she tried to call the manager as well as the police (neither seem to have responded?) and we were forced to intervene on our own with the neighbors with little results. I am including this in the review so that others should know that this happened to us and can potentially happen again, although the owner claimed that this had never happened before. Maria was responsive and communicative to all my inquiries immediately and was even helpful in trying to return an item that I had left behind. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and have wonderful family memories of the beautiful beach and pool.

I had one fabulous week at this property. It is one of the best and most beautiful homes at Palo Seco beach. Bedrooms are spacious with balcony, pool is incredible, beach is breathtaking and very quiet. I will be definitely returning here, hoping it will be available. There is caretaker at the property, who was super nice. Unfortunately due to my lack of Spanish, we didn’t understand each other, but Maria was super responsive and answered my questions in English. Thank you for allowing me to book!
